A little too heavy for a comedy
Dark surreal dystopian comedies need more humor
Good, not quite as darkly funny as I expected, seemed more concerned with the politics and "rules of the universe" than entirely necessary which kind of messed with the pacing dragged the humor a little bit. Other people were having a hard time understanding the world as built, anyway, so it seems a bit of wasted effort.

Extremely surreal, I have a fondness for this film

This is the third book in this series by this author. You are always guaranteed a fantastic read by this author. Amazing characters, which you will fall in love with as you read. This book is the perfect mix of humor and the heavy stuff to keep you hooked till the very last page. I can't wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.
Highly recommended

Despite having an intriguing premise involving re-incarnation, I have to say: I found this book to be quite heavy going, and not so much slow going as moving at a glacial pace.

While it did show flashes of promise, I felt that it never really took off at all or really grabbed my attention: indeed, at times it felt like a chore to be reading it (as a matter of principle, if I start a book I finish it).

Not impressed. :(

Album Favorite

"We'll finish with my favorite hardcore record of all. Converge, to me, stand apart from all genres and scenes as just simply the best heavy band in the world, possibly ever. I never tire of their output, they're endlessly inventive, exciting, weird, vicious, and just plain fucking brilliant. Of all their records this is my favorite as it just seems a little more direct, stripped back, dare I say it, hardcore than the others. This is definitely my desert island hardcore album."
