The Boleyn King (Boleyn Trilogy, #1)

An historical entertainment more than a traditional historical novel, this imagines that Anne Boleyn had a son, ergo she wasn't discarded and her son became king on the decease of Henry VIII. Potentially I thought this might be very, very bad, but actually it was pretty well written and entertaining, A few odd Americanisms in there ("visit with" etc.), but overall better than I expected.

This book was pretty creepy. I loved the historical facts sprinkled in with myth and really liked Cassidy. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Good start to a new historical mystery series. Recommended by Sharon Kay Penman too! Set in the English/Scottish marches in the dying years of Elizabeth's reign.

This book was slightly silly, but presented stories about historical felines that were interesting. Cats have gotten the shaft all throughout history, excluding Ancient Egypt, of course.
