Gary Oldman was realistic and fantastic in his portrayal of Churchill and deserves the acclaim he is receiving. I felt the film dragged in parts but overall, despite not being a fan of politics or historical films, I thought the film was good. It also taught me some things that I was not aware of, that Churchill was not respected by his peers and thought of as a good speaker but a bit of a joke otherwise.

This was a Kindle Freebie when I downloaded it so I would recommend you keeping an eye out for it again.

This is a story that revolves around a handful of main characters, but don't let that deceive you! There are enough names dropped into the story that you will have fun trying to keep up. It is a fast-paced book with lots of detail.

If you like historical books, then give this one a try.

A short non-fiction ebook that draws comparisons from the magic written by J.K. Rowling in the Harry Potter series to the historical myths and folklore from which it's based. Invisiability, transforming into a creature, and warding off evil are just a few of the topics you'll find in this book.

I found this to be a fascinating read and would recommend it to any fans of Harry Potter who are interested in Mythology and Folklore.
