Tormaigh (0 KP) rated Cards Against Humanity in Tabletop Games

Great for Parties
I love this game. I play it with my family at Christmas and on holiday (because we are strange and inappropriate). It is always hilarious and often lasting jokes are created by the conversations we have whilst playing. (n.b. I would not recommend this as a "family game" for most families!)
The only drawback is that we play it a lot and thus some combinations of cards get played again and again which makes them less funny. Therefore we have to keep buying expansion packs to save from getting tired of it. However, that does make buying presents easier as Cards Against Humanity regularly bring out new decks and we can all buy them for eachother.

Ruth Frampton (577 KP) rated Santa's Countdown to Christmas: 24 Days of Stories in Books

Advent calendars have changed a great deal over the past 40 years, they've been the traditional Christian images depicting the story of the season, to ones containing sweet and then even to have candles, beer and a range of consumerisms finest. More recently, a trend of giving a book a day for advent has been doing the rounds, a great, if expensive, idea. This book put that all in one book with a story a day for advent. The language used in the book is engaging and supportive of good reading. It promotes the good things about the holiday season and encourages youngsters to give without thought of receiving. A real book to be read with and to the whole family, a book for all ages.

I keep telling myself not to get involved with another comic series. This book (and the next in the series) is the result of taking my children to the library to while away a wet day during the Easter holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed it, too. It dives straight in to the action from page one. Bits are rather blood thirsty, and it does bend reality (he's his fathers son, and probably fed up with being compared to him as well, but there it is!). It's all about keys and somebody, who isn't particularly nice, wanting to get their hands on them. I don't want to say anything else! All I will say, is that it's well worth giving it a chance.

Ability to customize your camp (3 more)
Always something to work towards
With each new season or holiday, there is a related event that will get you cool new things
You can easily add and interact with real-life friends as well
Such a cute version of the game we all used to love!
Ever since it came out this past fall, I have always loved playing this game! It's just so cute and innocent and is a very good way to relieve stress. I really have nothing bad to say about it- I love how there is always something to work towards, always a new task, etc. This app is very well put together and successfully brought back all of the nostalgia from the old Nintendo DS game!

Hard to see past the moustache
Nice-looking and competent new version of the Agatha Christie classic, made in the traditional all-star manner. A bit hard to be gripped by the actual murder-mystery plot, but maybe that's because the twist in this story is so famous it barely qualifies as such any more.
Often looks more like a commercial for a luxury railway touring holiday than an actual thriller, but I suppose the production values are part of the appeal of this sort of film. Ken Branagh is arguably just a little bit hammy as a version of Poirot who appears to have some form of ASD, but he has a certain moral authority. Probably won't rock your world but passes the time nicely enough.

My favourite book of 2018
Well I brought this book as heard so so many good reviews, like most books I try not to read spoilers as I enjoy the surprise! ..I was not disappointed I took it on holiday to Mexico and sat by the pool all day turning page after page ..the only disappointment I got was when I finished it!
It’s a strange feeling when your climbing deep into a book , thinking you know the characters well then ‘bang’ you don’t know them at all. It’s such a gorgeous love story but with twists I was not expecting I felt all sorts of emotions all the way through.
I will be reading more of Katherine’s books she is very talented

STABBED IN THE HEART
AND YOU'RE TO BLAME
YOU GIVE CHRISTMAS A BAD NAME
Thank you, i just had to get that out of my system!
This is a really fun, easy read with likable characters.
The villain pretty much jumped out at me but i didn't feel condescended to so that's always lovely!
I really like Jules' friendship with Christmas-Hating Lance.
She's so determined to have him enjoy the holiday that she invites him to a fancy dinner where an awful woman is stabbed.
Things move at a pretty brisk pace from there and the ending is a Christmas treat!

Quick to read
I read this on holiday, in two sittings. Only because I had to get up from my first sitting to get a drink before burning up.
I felt that this was one of those YA novels that is very typical. We have the main character, someone who wants everything they can't have. We have the boyfriend of the friend, who she wants and who wants her, but neither can have.
But then, then we have the dead girl.
I don't know how I truly felt about this one, it definitely plays with your mind. It's a good start to psychological thrillers if that's a genre you want to explore more, but for me, it felt like a meh book.

For an old horror film this really wasn't that bad fair enough the monster it's self is budget but I really enjoyed this!!
Everyone is having the best time on the big cruise ship enjoying there holiday until someone onboard stops the ship and burns the control's all so that a private company can come in and rob the ship. Not knowing that something worse something abnormal is headed for the ship. By the time this private company reaches the ship there is no one around, they don't know what has happened yet but it's not long before they find out and it's a fight to survive. Brilliant film I enjoy the action the actors and killing beast from the deep! Worth the watch!
