Twisted & dark, yet still comical storyline

The dialogue (accents) may need to be re-read a couple of times to understand
I thought this was a much stronger story than Volume 2 and carried on with the main storyline of The Seven.

It was, as always, controversial, dark yet comical and I found I couldn't put it down. There were also some very interesting new characters introduced that I hope to learn more about in the next volume.

I had been looking forward to watching The Last Movie Star ever since seeing production stills while it was being filmed near my hometown in Tennessee. I love Burt, but had no idea this movie was going to move me the way it did. My first viewing was before his passing, and after watching it again after Burt passed it hit harder than the first time around. Here's to making what I hope is just my ACT II a good one, and watching The Last Movie Star made it a little less shitty.

I think this is the first Vietnam War film I've seen. I am so conflicted after watching this film. One part of my mind wants to like it because of the gorgeous cinematography, the clear amount of time and effort that was put into it, and the heart that the actors brought. But this movie is so painful. It has so much depression in it. It's so hard to find a glimmer of hope in this film that you tend to be overwhelmed by the negativity. Overall, this was not a movie I liked.
