A thought provoking & moving morality tale
I'd already seen the film prior to reading This, so I may have spoilt the book for myself a little. However that said, the book is much better than the film. It's a moving and thought-provoking tale of love, loss and morality. It really gets you questioning right and wrong, and I found myself getting frustrated at characters for not doing what I personally believed was right. It's not a pleasant book to read for the most part as it's quite sad and depressing, although the ending does at least give you some hope. Can be a little too long winded at times but still a great easy read.

This was very, very good. I really enjoyed it, especially because I listened to it as an Audiobook and it was read by Rosario Dawson. She's always been one of my favorite actresses, but I didn't how great she is at voices or how captivating she can be just by listening to her. She really brought the story to life and made me care about and like Jazz, as well as the other characters. I really hope Andy Weir writes a sequel to Artemis because he definitely left it open for one, and if not, I'll be really disappointed. But overall, I loved this book and I would read it again in a heartbeat!!

Just a heads up. I plan to post my first video blog about my current work in progress novel, The Wrath of Borgen. This first installment should give my viewers insight into the inspiration for my story, and the struggles of which I have had to face along the way of these three years of which I have been working on writing the first draft. It will also explain why I am so close to completion, but have not yet managed to cross that threshold.
Please stay tuned, and I hope you all enjoy this little window of insight of which I will open up to share my creative process for my long awaited first novel.

Fyre Fraud (2019)
Fyre Fraud (2019)
2019 | Documentary
I watched this documentary second, in my makeshift Fyre-Festival-Flu watch. This documentary actually interviewed the skeezy dude that thought up the whole mess, and tried to maybe humanize him. Dude is straight up skeezy and not remorseful.
This approached it from more of a financial-fraud aspect, which is what I deal with every day, so I find it interested. It also had some of these ridiculous 'influencers' interviewed as well, and sorry, I still find it hard to have sympathy.
I did like this documentary a little better than the Netflix one, but they both ended up pretty good. Again, I hope the d-bag wasn't paid at all.

I received an Arc Copy for an open and honest review.
I loved this book, I am a huge supernatural fan.... My favourite type.....werewolves and this did not disappoint. It kept me intrigued, it kept me in suspense and wanting more!
I love Nate and the kids of Tether and the unique situation they are in and also I love how Nessa evolves and matures right before your eyes.
Also the way the Wolf family was written really made you think you were they, playing with pups and singing with them and gives you a little sneak peak into the wolves pack dynamics.
Just could not get enough of this book and really hope there is a sequel :)

Bookish boyfriend's is a book for any starry eyed reader. Let's be honest at some point in time every reader has thought "boys(or girls) are better in books". Or found ourselves imagining what it would be like to be the other person in the book getting a relationship with said amazing character. Well this book brings it to life.
Merri gets to live her dream of book boyfriend's and finds out maybe we need to look deeper than just a first glance/dream idea.
I absolutely adored this book, the character, the references, and that it wasn't just cut and dry predictable. I sincerely hope the author gives us a glimpse into another characters story in the future!

Love it
Based on the manga "Gunnm", Alita: Battle Angel tells the story of a female cyborg. It takes place against a beautiful cyberpunk world called Iron City. It truly is a sight to see. But the true sight is Alita herself. She's beautifully animated & played excellently by Rosa Salazar. Chirstoph Walz was Christoph Walz. Actually, everyone was pretty good. The effects are phenomenal. The story is good as well, although there was no need for the love-story at all. It didn't move the story at all. I do hope there is a sequel made. Seeing this also makes me hopeful for a live-action version of Bubblegum Crisis in the future.

A Surprising Gem
I can honestly say that this book surprised me. When I first started reading it, I felt somewhat bored and thought I wouldn't finish it. I am glad that I put it down and came back to it later in the day because once I started reading it again I couldn't put it down. The storyline flows ever so smoothly and the characters are beautiful though I must say that Catherine left a bad taste in my mouth. In reading this I was left with the desire to roam freely within Willow Hall and the grounds. I grew rather fond of Lydia and John and I hope that the author will continue their story.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010)
2010 | Action, Drama, Family
A good film, well made and with good actors. I've not read the books to be honest but have seen all the films. This one does really feel like half a film....all slow pace, moody and brooding for what is too come in the finale. It is dark and menacing and a lot more grown up than the other films, some will prefer this others won't. For me this was just average, I prefer the action, Hogwarts, the humour and creatures of the other films. This is largely the 3 main characters on the run and hiding with very little action. Let's hope the final film doesn't lose the Potter magic!

Another Potter
Harry Potter. The small boy with the lightning-shaped scar and the broken glasses made my childhood days magical and filled with hope that someday my letter to Hogwarts would come.

Alas my dream never came true, although every time there is post I secretly pray there is a piece of parchment sent to me by the wizarding school, apologising for it being late (11 years late!) that there was a clerical error made by one of the owls but if I would accept they would love to have me at Hogwarts.

Naturally, I would not say yes the first time...I do love being chased!
