"I can’t finish this list without mentioning this one. I came across this brilliant album reissued by Frederiksberg Records on Bandcamp, and was immediately struck by the catchiness of ‘Sizzlin’ Hot.’ It was a track that should have been a hit, but never was. It was just before a bunch of DJ gigs around New Year’s Eve, so I immediately edited and remixed it. When I’ve played it anywhere since then, the result is total pandemonium! With the kind permission of the band and Frederiksberg Records, my reworking ended up being the title track on my most recent Daphni EP."

This started off quite good, then the love triangle aspect was introduced and I loved Grant, he was a hot geek, while Christian came across as some sort of loser boyfriend who occasionally had a nicer, softer, side.

Then it progressed some in the triangledom of relationships and I got a little giddy... And then it all started to go downhill for me from after the sex.

The storyline just got a little too ridiculous for me, and I started skipping pages, just skimming others...

Therefore I'm afraid it's getting a two star. Not for me at all, sorry.

The fact that I have to talk to people in film school who say that they love rap and the FIRST example they provide is Hamilton is one of the most disgusting things ever. The rapping style here is technically flawed, incredibly one note with little to no variation in rhythmic patterns and multis and as close to being off beat as possible.

Also, hot take, Lin-Manuel Miranda cannot sing. Sorry.

The only, and I MEAN ONLY reason that this is a 3/10 is the amazing performances from Daveed Diggs, Phillipa Soo and Renee Elise Goldsberry.
