I finally finished it!

That makes it sound bad, but it wasn't, it was actually pretty good--it just took me 11 days to read. I just have to be in a particular mood to read erotica.

3 star for the erotica/sex scenes/dirty talk/play acting
5 star for the romance/trips around Paris/sexual tension

Eventual 4 star rating

It still has the usual hot and heavy Christina Lauren style to it but I didn't enjoy this as much as Beautiful Bastard. Maybe it was the wedding. I wasn't expecting that to happen and it threw me for a loop completely.

This story was right up my street. It had everything I look for in a book; humour, sexiness and a good plotline. So in my opinion Cora Carmack is a genius!

If you ask me, Garrick quite possibly pulled every single female reader within those first two chapters. Girls, he’s hot! In fact, Garrick seems pretty fecking perfect and I have to say I’m slightly jealous of Bliss. The rest of the characters are a fun bunch and when they do the whole getting drunk thing together I was laughing.

If you’re looking for a fun, sexy read then I recommend this book. It’s amazing!

1986 | Adventure, Fantasy

"And Labyrinth. Labyrinth was sort of the same… Loved Labyrinth. I watched it again recently and had a total adult crush on David Bowie. I used to just think he was cool, and now I’m like, “Oh my God, he’s so hot in that movie.” So 80s and glam rock. And I think both of those movies are sort of, really so fancy, but there was something… I don’t know. To me, I didn’t feel like I was suspending reality. It just was like, “That’s the world this movie exists in, and I want to be in it,” you know what I mean? I just love both of those movies."

"I’ve been listening to Channel Orange, and you know everyone has loved that album but I didn’t really get into it, and I am about to start this movie and it’s getting me into the zone of this movie. It’s just like really cool and it’s just a thefty album and just fucking cool. Man, there is the perfect synth and everything just tastes delicious on that album. The way everything blends, you just want to ride a car; it’s the opposite of Joey Bada$$ or Action, you just want to open the window and it to be hot and sunny, and listen to this guy be depressed."

4.5 stars.

I thought some of this book was ridiculous but i fell in love with it anyway. Especially Roman and his relationship with Kasha. Oh, and her robotic arm. Not that i didnt love the rest of the cast but those two were my favourites. These girls got up to some right mischief but still managed to win two amazingly hot guys. I was in stitches quite a few times with their exploits and didnt want to put the book down at all.

Definitely recommend this if you like contemporary romances with quite a lot of humour in them. I look forward to reading more books by these authors.

The Patroness' story continues in this one and we see the return of Kylian. The heat is still there between them and we have a few hot scenes. I'm loving the build up between them and cant wait for book three because I've heard some good things from the author in relation to these two.

The plotline was just as engaging in this as the first and we see more characters join and some of our favourites return as we go on another exciting journey through the streets of Paris.

This is a must if you want to find a new name in urban fantasy.
