"This was my album of 1974, although it came out in 1973. I guess I was always catching up with Frank Zappa. The first album by him that I bought was Hot Rats, and I found that a rather irritating album of not very evolved guitar playing. Frank was a bit of a one-trick pony as a guitarist, but as a musician, arranger and bandleader of the traditional sort, he was at the top of the tree, although he wasn’t unique as a bandleader. There were by then other bandleaders in rock, blues and soul groups like BB King, James Brown and in England John Mayall. In America, Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart were bandleaders of an apparently tough-cookie nature, although everyone who worked with Frank seems to have revered him as a musician and a person."

Ooh, book 3's gonna be Aaron and Kreed!

Anyway, back to this. I'll give it 3.5 stars.

I loved Mitch, I liked Cody, I just wasn't so keen on the case--I know it carried on from the first book and that I should have wanted to know who wanted to hurt Jace and Cole but I didn't get into that aspect. Hence the 3.5 rating.

The author has this way of writing really hot scenes between her characters and Mitch was one of hell of a bad-arse and I loved him in this. Cody grew on me, too, after those first few hesitant chapters. I also grew to like Kreed and Aaron so their story will definitely be being read and hopefully this case will get fully wrapped up in that one.

P.S. Look at that cover!!

"This is the easily the best album of the last 10 years. I saw him recently, in London with Hot Chip, and it was absolutely fucking brilliant. James Murphy can do no wrong, and being an unlikely front man shouldn’t be any reason to stop you from being one. He just makes me think "I wish I’d thought of that. I wish I’d written that song." It can be hard to mix dance and alternative rock, but he does it brilliantly. I see a connection between what we did as New Order and what he does. The sad thing is, we were playing a tour in France with New Order and LCD were there, and they were all there on laptops. I saw them and thought, 'Should I go over and say I think you’re fucking brilliant?' And I decided: no."

"This album was like, ‘Yup, he knows exactly what he’s doing.’ Every album that he does is going to be dope. ‘Good Life’ is a classic to me forever. You put that CD on in any situation and things will start jumping. People will sweat that College Dropout, it was cool. I got a lot of songs on there that I like. Late Registration was real hot. He let people know how good he was with production on that album. He had songs that kind of trailed off and he could do his thing and there was no one rapping. On My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, to me, you can dial it back. People sweated him for doing his thing and sure, do your thing. But I don’t know, three of those songs I could of have gone with ending 60 seconds earlier."

An erotic ride....

Two for Tuesday is an erotic, very sensual story. Not only does it draw you into a heady sexual relationship but it highlights the differences between different social backgrounds.....Mel being a more country girl and Marcus being from the city.
Colour is only really referred to once or so, the cheeky stereotype.....which Mel clears up by saying she's gone back and forth over that line haha.

I like both characters, though Marcus was a tad needy, but it didn't make it any less enjoyable......just more realistic.

Bit of a spoiler......it gives hope that things can happen/get back on track after years apart. Also that sexual chemistry can't always be worn out!!

Definitely an adult only read.....to be read alone as it gets pretty hot and very detailed!
