Merissa (12051 KP) rated Summer Heat: A Steamy Romance Collection in Books
Aug 2, 2017
All of the stories flow, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow. There is simply no story that I felt was a 'filler', and far too many to choose just one favourite! Absolutely recommended by me - for that perfect summer read; or if you want to remember those hot, halcyon days, when it is cold outside.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *

ArecRain (8 KP) rated Fly You To The Moon (Stardust Erotic Romance Series #1) in Books
Jan 18, 2018
I would like to say this was a cute romance novella but the heroine was too frustrating. Actually, both leads were but male protagonists was more understandable. The couple fell in love but, due to their relationship, are not allowed to be together. However, they still act like they are together, e.i. jealousy, touching, etc. That was all fine and dandy, but the female lead was too childish for me. Not to mention she seemed to cry on nearly every page. I dont mind tears, they realistic. But this novel had too much.
Also for being the first in the series, there isnt much background information. While its not absolutely necessary, it would have been much appreciated.
The author created a interesting universe with realistic characters (even though they werent my favorites). It ends with a pretty hot scene, but is overall pretty tame.

It was nice to see Kit confront her demons, and her mother. And she gained a father figure in return. And its amazing to see the group really come together and defeat evil, as cliche as that sounds. And Lucy!!! Plot twist of the century! I could never have seen that coming if her halo hit me in the face! The whole series was a rollercoaster and I literally didn't put my kindle down for 3 straight days! Work be damned! You get so enthralled in her life and you want to know what happens next, even now I need to know about kids and life after!
Tate is a fabulous author and an amazing person (I've met her, so i know its true!) I love all of her books. Check them out!

4.5 stars!
I think it's my recent obsession with escort/sex-worker stories with tons of romance in them.
It was a perfect mood to be in when I read this story of Mason and Reese. She was quirky and within the first chapter had won me over with her thoughts of Mason. Mason sounded hot and grew on me quickly the more I read of him. He also broke mine and Reese's heart several times in the story.
He more or less despised himself for what he was doing and it was that that hurt to read. There were some powerful scenes between these two and when they finally, FINALLY!, got together I was so happy for them.
I look forward to reading other books by this author.
Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Cut & Run (Cut & Run, #1) in Books
Jan 11, 2021
This is only the third full-length mm romance I've read and like the other two, it was a sort of mystery/thriller.
I liked both characters. They were both really likable and I enjoyed reading their story, though the whole on again/off again thing drove me a bit potty at times, but I have to say the on again bits were both hot and sweet.
As for the bad guy, I had my suspicions from about mid-way through just because he seemed to be in the right place at the right time. I felt the ending, in regards to the bad guy, was a little bit of an anti-climax for me (but by then I was more interested in Ty's safe recovery than how the bad guy got his comeuppance)
I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series to see what else these two get up to :D
