This is my first ever J.D. Robb book and it definitely wont be my last. I've read Nora Roberts books before and liked them too, mainly her romantic suspense ones.

I was so caught up in this story, once I really started reading it, and never wanted to put it down for sleep or work or anything. The mix of romance and mystery and police investigation had me hooked from pretty early on.

I think it was the romance mainly. From that first meeting of gazes at the funeral I knew something was going to happen. Roarke was just enough mystery and hotness to compliment Eve and her cool aloofness.

The murders were also a source of great intrigue. There was a list of people who would want to kill these women but I could never figure out who it was, though looking back they were always a little shifty.

I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series and by the author.

I received this book by signing up for Celia Kyle's newsletter on her website.

Don't you just love it when you hit upon a book that is as hot as hell but will also make you laugh? I know I do and that's what I got with Scarlet. She has reached the incredibly OLD age of 30 and hasn't yet found her mates. Due to her having the Mark, she is now having to attend a Gathering in which she will try to find them.

I love the descriptions of the Wickham triplets and find it hilarious when Scarlet's mouth runs away with her. She may have two mates but she is not prepared to just let them walk all over her.

The descriptions of Scarlet's Alphas was also very well-done as they did indeed seem to balance each other out. Madden made me smile more than once with his quips.

A novella but jam-packed full of action and hotness. Can't wait to read Gabriella, book 2 in this series.

THE SOLITARY PROTECTOR is the eighth book in the Etherya's Earth series and we FINALLY get more of Alrec and Kilani!!! I can't believe I've waited this whole time. And now we get their son, Leo, too. Be still my beating heart.

Addie wants to know more about her purple eyes and sets off on a journey. Along the way, she meets Leo. To say these two are opposites would be an understatement at first glance, but once you learn more about them, you realise that they are both different and the same. Delayed gratification and so much hotness! Add to that a dash of heartbreak, hard choices, and a newly-found prophecy and you've got a recipe for a 5-star read!

Another star in the crown of Etherya's Earth, I honestly love this series. The one thing I'd recommend is to read it from the beginning, just so you get the full benefit. After all, these relationships don't just happen, you know. 😉

HIGHLY recommended by me!

SLOTH is the third book in the Seven Princes of Sin series. It's Linneas' turn and, oh boy, does he have a story to tell. He first senses his mate, Sylvia, as she is being transported to her new quarters to await her new master. He follows, on foot, not knowing what he's going into but knowing his mate is there. Gabriel also follows because Sylvia is his charge. Once these three get together, the story explodes with nuances and emotions, plus a whole load of hotness.

Now, before you do into it thinking it's all hearts and roses, it's not. Most definitely not. This is dark in a lot of places, so if things like abuse, non-consent, underage, slavery, and violence affect you, then this is definitely not the book for you.

This IS the third book and, as such, you really should read it as a series. You will learn things in this book that have relevance to what has gone on before.

I love that the storyline continues to hold my interest, that some of the angels are now questioning, and that as soon as I finish one book, I immediately want the next.

This is a fantastic series, and SLOTH is a brilliant addition to it. Highly recommended by me.

Finding Home by Meg Harding
Finding Home starts off with Jared. He has lost his job, is living back with his mother as his husband cheated with someone else, and now he finds out that his grandma has died. His mother wants him out of the house so she sends him off to hell (Florida in May) where he finds more than he bargained for, and learns about just who he is and what he wants.

This is a sweet and steamy, low angst, story full of feel-good factors. Jared's brothers are all brilliant, and Chase is... well, Chase is Chase and I wouldn't change a thing. Jared's neuroses were a tad annoying to start with, but as his story became clear, all was forgiven as I literally couldn't see him growing up any differently given the circumstances.

One thing I loved in particular (without giving away any spoilers) is when Jared does something that others might not agree with, but he does it for himself, for his own reasons, and to find things out about himself. I LOVED THAT!!! He is aware of what jumping into something might be like, but he is prepared to work with himself to ensure that everything goes the way it should.

With no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow, this was a page-turner that had humour, family, hotness, and love. Definitely recommended by me.

“Even shattered wings hold heavenly beauty.”

I don’t know who I am.
I don’t even remember what my name is.
I was lost, confused and broken the day I met them.
My Angels.

To the world, they’re nothing but leather wearing, foul-mouthed bikers, but to me, they are my saviors.
The light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

However, as my memory starts to come back to me in pieces, I fear the darkness ahead. Maybe the reason why I can’t recollect anything is because I don’t want to.

Life is sweet in heaven.

But hell doesn’t want to let me go.

Archangels MC is a Contemporary Romance Reverse Harem Standalone story where the heroine is just as fearless as her men, but the mystery that torments her once unraveled might be too much for them to overcome.

If you like hot bikers with attitude with a soft gooey center, a little suspense in a story with twists and spins that will make your jaw drop and whole bunch of hotness mixed with sweet tender moments, well then this baby is for you!

My view

This book has so many emotional twists and turns I was so engrossed. The trauma we see Hope go through from crawling out of her shallow grave to finally getting revenge on the person who put her there. For once you are rooting for that happily ever after! The 3 gorgeous, kind and amazing men helping her every step of the way. Really was an emotional roller coaster!
Love the little nod to Freya and her 5 boys too!!
