"Toni Morrison’s miraculous prose is a show-stopper in this novel. It is the first time I remember being awestruck by an author’s talent. The blunt, colloquial dialogue punctuating a more nimble and filigreed narration style is a rhythm I have borrowed from heavily in my own work. Her ability to embrace the supernatural while never straying far from the familiar imbues the story with a fairy-tale quality in the old school sense, where horror shadows everyday life and wonder awaits you just around the corner. I grew up in Cincinnati, and my grandparents’ home in Indian Hill had a false wall for harboring men and women fleeing slavery in Kentucky. I felt deeply connected to this book, as if I were reading it as a member of Sethe and Denver’s troubled household in their tightly woven African-American community."

This is one of those romance novels that reviews encouraged me to keep on reading. Like everyone else (most probably), I hated Luke at first because I really couldn't stand "the disabled kid being the world's biggest brat" trope, but that quickly changed after I got through the first few chapters.

Sometimes as I read novels, I question why characters get together (like the majority of romance novels), but for this one, I was so happy that they did. For a party guy, Zach is the nicest person I've ever read about in my life. And I feel so bad for Mandy because though I didn't grow up in an abusive household, but I've been in her shoes for taking care of my little sister, too.

I really don't wanna spoil the book, but it really turned in places I didn't expect, and I really hope that people will read this.

Something special is a very unique children's television series following the clumsy clown character known as Mr Tumble.
Portrayed by Justin Fletcher and always includes children with disabilities & special needs, involving them in the fun activities of the show.
Over time, the show has created new characters like Aunt polly, Grandad Tumble, Lord Tumble & many more.
A very recognisable character with his polkadot covered patchwork clothes, mr tumble has become a welcoming household name & continues to evolve.

It has helped children with their creativity & imagination and has even spawned a live stage show.
What is also incredible is that Justin Fletcher is a trained Makaton signer who uses this skill on the show with children who have delayed learning & communication difficulties & has created many memories for so many young children.

It is also the longest running programme on Cbeebies.
