This was such a sweetly written story!
I entirely enjoyed this read. From the very captivating beginning to the mining town of San Francisco, this story gives my imagination room to breath. I loved the characters, the descriptions of them, the interaction between them, and the hopeful lead into to another book at the end. The setting was very informative and gave me a great look at life back in the 1800's. I highly recommend this book.
I volunteered to read this book from Barbour Publishing Group in return for my honest feedback. The thoughts and opinions expressed with in are my own.

Great content, annoying app
Goodreads is 9/10 for content. If you are looking for something similar to a book you have read, this app will probably have a recommendation. Lots of decent reviews on a wide range of titles. Unfortunately, I can never seem to login. The app itself keeps scrolling up and down and refreshing until you sign in. I can't sign in because it doesn't like my email. When I try to sign up again with a new email it just keeps sending me back to the sign in page. I get frustrated and give up.

F***ed Up S**t
Long-time friends Alvin and Fran talk about the true crime you probably haven't heard of, because most podcasts cover the white male serial killers and not the minority serial killers covered in Affirmative Murder. Sprinkled with adult language, mood lightening occasional humour, and conversations about difficult topics, these two manage to be irreverent, informative, intelligent, and enlightening.
They don't mind if you look sideways at them when you pass them on the street, as long as you look at everyone else with suspicion too.
Welcome to the most educational fact-free zone you ever entered. ♥️

Bible Study
If you are searching for a good Bible study, this is it. Written by the author of Hagar the first study in the series Rediscovering the God Who Rescued Me; Shadia Hrichi. This author has an enjoyable way of teaching the Bible. It's informative, and exciting to dig into the Bible with Shadia. The readers will learn so much and enjoy as they learn.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to review this study. It's an easy 6-week study that can be extended into 12 weeks if so desired. If you are looking for a Bible study I urge you to give this one a try.
