Decent but not surprising

Overall a decent movie. There was not that twisty storyline that kept me engaged. There was a slight expected twist towards the end, but nothing that blew my mind away. Simon Pegg did a decent job, but his body transformation for the role was insane. Atmosphere was good, not great. Its a good Saturday early evening watch before a true blockbuster Thriller.

"Timothy Hutton turns in one of the best male performances I’ve ever seen. And that family dynamic was so subtle in what could have been a really angsty movie. Everything from the way it was shot to the way it was acted. John Bailey was actually the DP on my movie that I directed (Brief Interviews with Hideous Men) and he was saying that when they shot the psychiatrist scenes he started out with the camera right over their shoulders, and then he moved the camera back slowly and changed the lighting, because he said that if you’d been going to therapy for months, then the lighting would be different every time of the same day. And I thought, “That’s insane that someone thought of that.” And then he moved the camera back 100 feet so that they were compressed on each other so it was a much more intimate scene. I was like, “Wait, wait, wait, this is insane!”"

What's not to love?
This man just steals my heart with his insane voice and gorgeous soul!! You can hear and feel every sound and emotion he is trying to put through the music, you can truly feel what he is putting across.
The one song 'Forever Now' I genuinely can't get through it without shedding a tear because of the emotion in this man's voice!!!
What a man and what a singer!!

Definitely 100% leaps and bounds better than Pirate King - however, there were a bunch of spelling/grammar errors that just drove me insane. The story overall was amazing - it was a unique take on a siren - I have never read something like that before. There was a lot of mayhem and it was very exciting, though a lot of it was predictable it was still entertaining. Definitely a nice way to finish the series.

"The Room has been called the worst movie ever made, but it is also a cult favorite and has become the new Rocky Horror Picture Show in the midnight movie circuit. Sestero, one of the actors in the film, relates the twisted story of the making of The Room, and beautifully captures the admirable will, and the insane solipsism that is Tommy Wiseau, the mad and ultimately sympathetic man behind getting such a movie made."

"I fell upon this documentary and it is an absolute gem. What makes it so is the five people’s homes that we are invited into. Their homes are — of course — insane, but it’s their happiness and comfort with them that is really the thrill. Again, it’s funny and tender and the filmmakers don’t try to try to be shady with their subjects at all. They just let them speak and their enthusiasm and joy floods over us."

"Zoolander. Yeah, I mean, I love Ben Stiller, he’s just a brilliant guy. And I love Will Ferrell in it, too. His character, to me, is just insane and he made such huge choices, and he’s such a weirdo! [laughs] And I love Owen Wilson; I think it’s the best work he’s ever done. And they were both so gorgeous at that time. I know they were making fun of themselves, too, but they both look fantastic. So hilarious."

This movie is iconic at this point and rightly so. It is phenomenal from start to finish. There are so many classic lines and electric characters that every scene in this movie is quotable in some form. If you haven't seen it for some reason, do yourself a favour; stop what you are doing right now and go watch this masterpiece.

Average.
Skinwalker Ranch is a very scary place. A bunch of scientists went to investigate it and what they witnessed was insane (go listen to Astonishing Legends if you want to know more). The movie takes that concept and turns it into an average silly horror film when in fact if they simply followed the story in the book of actually events you would be more scared, instead it's all a bit meh.

I sort of enjoyed this! Sometimes Netflix documentaries stress me out and this one did a bit. I get that Joe Exotic's life was chaotic but I'm still not entirely sure of the order in which things happened. I might have to go watch it again but I have more questions now than when I started. I know a lot of people love this documentary and it is good I just think it could have been told better.
