A gaming masterpiece.
The game was one of the earliest games to be solely on PlayStation 3.

The graphics are absolutely superb for a 2007 game, and it hasn't aged in the 12 years it's been available, still as fresh and fun as the day it was released.

The story is exciting and unexpected, most likely drawing inspiration from the Tomb Raider games, featuring guns, puzzles, a rich bad guy, and a mystery to be solved.

"Back in high school, my best friend gave me a tattered paperback of Boy Wonder by the late/great James Robert Baker. We’d been into making movies, writing stories, and living imaginatively since kindergarten, and this gonzo, out-of-print novel about a young-madman-turned-Hollywood-super-producer had it all. Boy Wonder is the perfect summer read, a fount of crazed inspiration, laugh-out-loud funny, and to this day, one of the most seminal reading experiences I’ve had."

"It could be any Curtis Mayfield record, really. When I hear his voice, it just lifts me up. His music puts me in the space to create. It’s quite rare, that mix of fragility and toughness. It’s there from day one with a song like It’s Alright by the Impressions, and it’s there on his late music too, this incredible ability to sweeten the message with beautiful melodies. He’s a complete inspiration as a songwriter, musician and arranger. Curtis lives!"

"Stevie Wonder is a creativity kickstart for me because he consistently writes songs that defy gravity. He reminds me that in order to be the best musician I can be, I have to be open to experimenting. Some of my favorites of his are 'Superwoman,' 'All in Love is Fair,' 'You and I' and 'They Won’t Go When I Go.' As you can see by the number of albums on my list, I could name a million of his songs for inspiration."

Quoth the Raven, Nevermore
If you have read my reviews on the film 'The Raven' and the TV series 'The Following' the you have already read about how I adore Edgar Allan Poe and how he is my biggest inspiration in writing, especially of my Gothic Horror poems.

The poems he has written are chilling, enjoyable and indeed are works of a genius, that some at the time, maybe even still to this day, would call the writings of a mad man. The life of Poe is one filled with tragedy and bewilderment, and he has inspired so many writers across all mediums over the years, and is one of the most famous writers known to man. Almost everyone I have ever met knows, at the very least, the line of 'Quote the Raven, Nevermore' and this is just one of the staples that this man has left throughout history.

His short stories aren't all horror, same as his poems, but it has to be said that his Horror fiction is certainly his best. Though I have not yet read all of his short stories, or even half, the one's that I have read have given me a clear idea that whilst his work remains interesting to read, his horror is by far the most entertaining and thrilling.

Edgar Allan Poe will always remain my biggest inspiration for my writing, and I hope to one day have a collection of writings, that are just as loved as his.

Sci-fi writings have been the dreams and places of inspiration for scientists for years past and this book shows that Star Trek is no different. A look at the items from the show that have or are becoming science fact, this book is well presented and easy to navigate, it goes into depth on some of the more familiar elements from Gene Roddenberry's world. With many, many images to break up the science, this could almost be a coffee table book, definitely recommended.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?!?
This is one of those movies that always shocks me when people say they've never seen it.

The movie follows two detectives who are hunting down a serial killer who is using the Seven Deadly Sins as inspiration for his murders and let me tell you to this day Sloth messed me up so much. But it's the amazing ending that really just makes this movie something special that everyone who is a fan of Psychological Thrillers should definitely watch.
