Fun!
This movie turned out to be very entertaining! The acting was great and the cinematography/effects/ imagery were beautifully done. There is plenty of intense action and cool creatures throughout and the story unfolded well. Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum were great protagonists and worked well together. I highly recommend this sci-fi action thriller to anyone. Really worth a watch!

Fun!
Plenty of excitement in this action thriller starring Dwayne Johnson. Not the absolute best action flick out there but has all the makings - good acting, great effects/cinematography and an intense storyline. Some predictable parts, but nothing that takes away from the fun that this movie turned out to be. A great one for the whole family. Really worth a watch!

Donnie Yen has been a favourite for some time, and this film is an instant classic in a large circle of martial arts movies.
Its intense and well choreographed action and fight scenes put Yen front and centre, and it's about time he got the recognition he deserved and this extraordinary movie is a great showcase of his talent, a must watch!

This installment is very different as the film's tone is quite dark and the story is that of spies and espionage which is a bold move and direction for Marvel that pays off handsomely and makes for an intense and thrilling watch.
This is up there as one of the best sequels in the genre and is a must see.

Train to Busan is a Korean zombie horror film, I wasn't sure what to except when I when into this but wow! The actors are exceptional ,the story is intense and there wasn't just gore for the sake of it. There were various scares but not obvious ones, I did actually forget halfway through that I was watching a subtitled film. Amazing

The characterisation is good
This book is like the start of the end in a way - the ending is quite intense and gets the ball rolling for the main storyline in the final books. Definitely one of my favourites from the series. You can see the characters' personalities begin to develop properly as they grow up.

Intense
Great movie all around. Lots of twists and turns throughout this action packed thriller. Mark Wahlberg and the rest of the cast deliver excellent performances. This one keeps you on the edge of your seat (if you pay attention) up to the end with an ending that redefines what you think the entire movie is about. Really worth a watch!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a pretty intensive mystery, a little more intense than I usually like my cozies.
I didn't really have sympathy for the mc until the reveal about her fiance, then a lot of things made sense.
This one was very well written, just not my cup of tea.

I was pleasantly surprised by this series and hope to see a continuation of it. It was constantly intense and unexpected. Even in the moments of supposed calm, there is a palpable tension in every action taken by the characters. The way it follows the different characters on their journey through the horror and how their stories link together was really interesting.

A claustrophobic and terrifying journey with Paul Sheldon you live through this nightmare not just by his side but in his head with him. The pure fear and loneliness of Paul's experience is continuously haunting. Along with this he torments himself with unwelcome memories that subsequently nourish him with the tools he needs to manipulate his way out.
