Introducing Kate Winslet!
Before Peter Jackson was instructing us on the ways of Bilbo and Gollum, he introduced us to Pauline and Juliet, two young girls who form an intense, provocative and somewhat delusional relationship.
They become fast friends and construct a fantasy world where both of them can live whilst they make some gruesome decisions about their own parents. Throughout the film you are unsure what you are viewing is real of part of the dream.
I loved this film for its portrayals of the young girls and the lengths they will go to remain together even after their volatile relationship is discovered.

While this book had some certain tropes in it (hello love triangle) - and it definitely would have some trigger warnings, a few times I was shocked at what I read, not necessarily in a bad way - but some people may actually have issues with this book if they're super sensitive.
the whole suicide epidemic was quite an interesting story to read (granted that right there should trigger people - hey don't read this book) - the whole lobotomy after getting into the program was intense too - though wickedly fun to read about.
i'm very very curious to see where this series goes.....luckily I checked them all out from the library!

If The Mist, Jeepers Creepers and War of the Worlds had a baby
Tragic and very exciting, this film follows one family's attempt to live their lives without making a sound. If they do, they face immediate carnage form mysterious creatures who want to tear them apart.
It just goes to show a good filmmaker can create tension and keep you engaged and on the edge of your seat even without much dialogue. The film is very quiet (obviously) which make the louder scenes in stark contrast even more intense.
I enjoyed more than I thought I would. I say thriller certainly instead of horror.

When Nadia goes outside to wait for the school bus to her 1st day of a new school a girl named Kasey comes up and they begin there friendship. Something happens to Kasey and Nadia changes. Nadia leaves for 3 years but comes back with a fiance. Does Kasey come back? What does Donovan think of Nadia's fiance?

fantastic third book in the series
This is the third book in this series by this author. This is the final book in this series. Wow, what a final book, I just couldn't put this book down. This is darker and more intense than the other two books. This series can not be read as stand alone reads, they must be read in order. This is a dark romance read with an element that is beautiful interwoven in the story. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

amazing emotional read
This is the third book in this series by this author. OMG, I was in tears just reading the prologue. This is an amazing story with plenty of romacne, hot and steamy scenes and heart wrenching moments. The characters were really well written, they had such amazing intense chemistry between them. This book has plenty of tear jerking moments throughout the book, so have the tissues at the ready, you will definitely need them. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future and in this series.

Wow! Just wow! This time around I know exactly what rating to give this dark but perplexing read. I am truly enjoying the fact that I am still completely clueless as to the true nature of Six. Is Six an angel? A demon? The figment of Corbin's fragmented mind? The author once again reeled me in right from the start with her beautifully dark writing style. The characters are all stunning and unique and I simply cannot wait for the next book in the series as this cliff hanger ending was more intense than the last. It is indeed a pleasure to spend time in the mind of Nikki Rae.

Joker begins

Arthur fleck is a struggling comedian with history of depression and a medical condition which causes him to laugh when in physical or mental pain. (Makes sense given the character being portrayed).
Finally being pushed over the edge of his own sanity & idolized by the people of Gotham who feel forgotten & pushed aside, Arthur dons the name 'Joker' & decides to take matters into his own hands by violently retaliating against the wealthy.
Joaquin Phoenix is fantastic and plays the Role brilliantly bringing a dark, intense character to the silver screen in an origin story that is a must see.....knock knock.......
