"The Royal Tenenbaums. The style of the movie is so brilliant, and it just had so much character and intrigue, and the characters are all so specific, and funny, and heartbreaking, and as heightened as the world is, everybody’s so grounded. There’s just so much going on in that movie, and it just keeps moving. When you sit through it, you’re never bored through any of it, and I just think that [Wes Anderson] is one of the best directors of all time. I love pretty much everything with Bill Murray in it, so yes, that would be the first one."

After reading this for a second time I can now give a fair review.

This book is so unique in its plot. It takes us on a journey through Paris while weaving a tale of action, intrigue and romance. Natalie combines both fantasy and other famous fictional characters to enhance the story and I loved it :D

You come to like the characters and will them on in their journey of discovering who the bad guys are.

It is a really enjoyable read and I will be sure to re-read the second one now too :D

Martyr ( John Shakespeare book 1)
By Rory Clements
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This ingenious debut introduces John Shakespeare, Elizabethan England's most remarkable investigator, in a tale of conspiracy and murder that succeeds brilliantly as both historical fiction and crime thriller.

This is one of my favourite eras to read! I really enjoyed this book it was full of murder and intrigue in a very dark time especially if you were religious and on the wrong side. It’s definitely a book I recommend if you like historical fiction. It has some very interesting characters along the way.

Oh wow!

If you're looking for a thrilling read that pulls you into a deadly mystery then look no further.
Ideal for a young adult plus reader, Mercy Creek, will have you hooked and slipping deep into the intrigue of this seemingly perfect town. A town protected by detective Jo Wyatt, a strong tenacious woman determined to bring the truth to light and catch a killer.
She's a brilliant detective and I really liked how her personality developed.
It's also cool that the story is a standalone but with a basic background/main character that stays the same.
