A good attempt at a film noir by Dennis Hopper. It's a little slow to begin with, but soon there are plenty of twists along the way. Things heat up when a drifter passes through a small town and sets off a chain of events which will change many lives. This film has a few themes running through it, hot women, American classic cars and some cool Jazz tunes as well. Doesn't seem to be on TV much, catch it when you can.

Huh
Well after all the build up of the veil splitting and the gods attempting to reenter earth and all that jazz, I was a little disappointed by how quickly and easily that bit was overcome. I expected more chaos and screaming. Never the less, I have enjoyed this series and having spent a week in Vegas myself recently I enjoyed the descriptions of the Strip and it's hotels.
I look forward to reading the next series by the author.
