This was a good movie, but I wish there was a little more to it. Although I like the cast, Idris Elba’s character is kind of a jerk, where Kate Winslit’s character is more hopeful. Not really an out-of-the-box idea. If I was channel surfing and there was nothing else on, I would watch it again.

Odelia is attending her high school reunion when the class jerk keels over dead. Then her boss goes missing. Can Odelia solve these two mysteries? The book was lots of fun, and the two stories definitely kept things moving forward.

Entrancing but some issues
I really do like this movie, and I will definitely watch it again. I love some of the songs, but some are just so poppy it's annoying. It does, however, get a lot of people who don't like musicals into it. And, the songs that his acts sing are very inspiring. However, P.T. Barnum was an absolutely horrible person. They show it a little in this movie, but overall make him seem like a kind person who deserved the happy ending he got.
Overall, I will buy this film and add it to my collection of musicals.
But I'll still grumble about how much of a jerk this guy was.
