"Love No Country for Old Men. I feel like there’s no formula to it. I love the Coen brothers. They’re so brilliant and they always surprise you in one way or another. A Serious Man was awesome. I like stuff like that, that kind of throws you for a loop. It takes you on a journey that is unexpected."

"This is a life-changing read. Even after the 25th time I find myself learning pure truth and gaining introspection for the deceptively small but very impressionable moments of choice in my journey. I keep these powerful words of compassionate awareness on my nightstand as a reminder to continue living my life with certainty and trying my very best."

A sweet thought-provoking tale about Edward - a man with OCD and aspergers. Cleverly written it takes the reader on a journey to understand Edward's condition but, more importantly, to get to know the man behind his disabilities. Powerful insights are revealed which actually open windows not only into mental illness but human nature. I enjoyed this book.

"One of the most harrowing films ever made. Clouzot has impossibly constructed a thriller about a life-threatening journey in a truck that never goes above six miles an hour! Nail-biting and riveting, with wonderful and insightful character development, it’s a film that’s also about greed and desperation, with terrific performances from Yves Montand and Charles Vanel."

Poems on love, grief & resilience
This book of poetry takes you on a journey. The grief and pain, the resilience of not letting life or people get you down, being open to love even though it could hurt. These poems resonate with the soul, honest and bare open for all to see.
Don't forget the tissues.

"A great collaboration between Wim Wenders and Sam Shepard. I love Robby Müller’s cinematography. They started the film with only part of a shooting script and then it evolved from the journey, the landscapes, and the shooting itself. That’s part of the reason the film is so special—it wasn’t all planned out ahead of time."

"I love Mike Leigh, and this is one of his best. A brutal character study, it’s a journey into the psyche of a man at war with himself and the world. Bleak, hilarious, and uncompromising. Also, the DVD includes Mike Leigh’s wonderful, demented short film The Short and Curlies (featuring another great performance by David Thewlis)."

TOD was full of adventures and surprises, and while I enjoyed discovering what Chaol and Nesryn experienced while away, I wasn't quite as interested as I have been reading about Aelin's journey. I did get swept up in the romance of it all, I'll admit! Even still, I'll be glad to return to Aelin in Kingdom of Ash
