"I know this is Joseph Campbell for Girls, but when you remember that the Star Wars Trilogy started the popular version of Campbell’s hero’s journey, and that women other than Princess Leia speak for 63 SECONDS of the films’ 386 MINUTES, then, boy oh boy, do we need this great, smart, empowering womanopedia of myth and what to do with it."

"I first discovered this movie, and director Samuel Fuller, more than fifteen years ago via A Personal Journey with Martin Scorsese Through American Movies. I’ve never been the same since! The first four minutes take your breath away, and it only gets better and stranger, almost hallucinatory, after that. Did anyone understand the grand beauty and horror in pulp like Samuel Fuller?"

"LaValle writes horror, but horror as a way to move in closer to the complexities of our minds and our society. This novel takes the reader on a wild coast-to-coast journey that begins in an unusual library in a forest and includes many vividly memorable scenes, allowing for amazing, surreal access to our protagonist's psyche and the inner workings of America."

The accident happened just as Byron noticed that the two seconds were being added to time, and nothing was the same after that. In this fascinating story, Rachel Joyce once again takes us on a uniquely personal journey. Humourous presenting combined with factual knowledge and entertainment. This show never fails to make me feel better and brighter than I did before starting each episode. (0 more)
However, has begun to get predictable and repetitive. Can miss an episode nowadays (easy to do since there is such a large gap between episodes) and still get deja vu. (0 more)
A feel good journey

This was one of the first, new-canon Star Wars comic runs. It's part of the 'Journey to Force Awakens' series, and picks up right after Return of the Jedi ends. It was a good start to new canon, and helped fill in some gaps. This run also introduced us to Poe's parents.
I also love the art for this series.
