"This film traces the evolution of flamenco, from its origins in India through Egypt, through eastern Europe to the west – “latcho drom” means safe journey. The director is Romany himself, and there’s no narrator, so the story is told through song and subtitles with no contrivance at all. You feel properly immersed in new worlds as a result – I play flamenco, and you feel the echoes of ancient traditions in it, but this is something else. The most powerful scene is of three women singing on a hilltop about how they’ve been disenfranchised. It’s unbelievably moving."

Well. That was quite a journey. And not to the center of the earth this time. Once more, The Rock showes us he can make a bad fall watchable, dare I say, enjoyable?
I know that this is not really a "good" movie, but dam did I enjoy it. I laughed, I groaned, I shouted at the TV about the sheer "in your face science!" of the logic. And I had a good time doing it.
As bad movies go, this one is a gooden!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Having already devoured a Luke Chmilenko collaboration, I was greatly anticipating Savage Dominion by Luke Chmilenko and G.D. Penman. This book did not disappoint!!

From the very beginning, this book reads like the best RPG you have ever played. Three unlikely characters become travelling companions, and then almost friends as they take on challenges and quests together. We see them levelling up and learning new skills and abilities as they proceed on their journey.

Already looking forward to Savage Dominion: Wyrmshard!!

Little Nightmares is a cute but dark and somewhat Grimm side scrolling style puzzle based platformer of a Horror videogame published by Bandai Namco Entertainment & developed by Tarsier studios for Windows, ps4, Nintendo switch, xbox one and stadia.

Set in a variety of locations filled with emptiness and seemingly demonic creatures, our little protagonist(?) Awakens and immediately set's off on a dark and difficult journey....but to where and through what is a mystery.

Brilliantly designed & thought out, little nightmares will have you questioning a lot in its short gameplay.

A bachelor goose must form a bond with two lost ducklings as they journey south.

This may have dented my love of children's films just a little bit.

A cat with a split personality and some fairly difficult to love characters were only part of my problem with this film. It was a predictable and not nearly entertaining enough to make up for that fact.

However the worst bit was the opening sequence. Everything is done so fast that it's almost impossible to work out what is actually going on, and worse for me, it set off my motion sickness.

Wow
I absolutely loved this book. I couldn't put it down but I had to at times because l didn't want it to end. Even though this book is fiction I was so caught up in Anke's journey that the author made it feel so real life. The author captured the sadness of real life history, and with her knowledge of midwifery this book fast became one of my favourite reads in years. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has a fascination for stories about the holocaust.
