Brillance

I love this anime!
It is a brilliant, well thought out, comprehensive series with no end of twists and turns in the plot. In comparison to the original Fullmetal Alchemist, The Brotherhood series follows the Manga and flows a lot better than the original.
The series both follow the tale of Edward and Alphonse Elric as the journey to find a way to recover their bodies, Brotherhood however, in my opinion, covers a more fluid storyline with less plot holes.
I have to admit though that one of my favourite scenes is during the Fifth Laboratory when 66/Barry the Chopper reacts to Alhponse's lack of body despite his own lack of one.

this is the first by this author that I've read and it definitely wont be the last. this is a beautiful love story. the author has a fab way of making you feel like your right there with the characters every step of the way. this story flows at a very steady pace through out the book. the characters were very interesting and keep me reading long into the night. the relationship between the characters goes on a journey of lots of ups and downs till they reach the right path. i cant wait to read more by this author in the future.

Rickey A. Mossow Jr. (689 KP) rated Creed II (2018) in Movies

A fitting conclusion.
The original Creed was an incredible movie, so of course one has to head into the sequel with reservations that they couldn't possibly tell a story as compelling as the first. The film hits the ground running and never lets up telling three parallel stories that combine into one amazing journey. The film also beautifully never forgets or betrays its roots. Stallone knows the story his characters and the story he wants to tell with them. His Rocky beautifully compliments the brilliant and layered performance by Michael B. Jordan. If this is indeed the final chapter of Rocky series, it's a beautiful work of art to close the over 4-decade odyssey.

Excellent description
Gripping story from beginning to end
I got Kindle Unlimited for a couple of months and this is the third book I have read. Out of three this is the best by far. The story is told from the viewpoint of Heather and Aefre (The Crone).
Heather is a grieving mother who becomes obsessed with the circumstances of her sons death. Things are not quite as they seem.
Her research leads her to meet a number of different interesting characters and on a journey with a twist at the end.
Would definitely recommend reading this if you like something a bit darker from a book.

A priest named Vitio Corneilus who leeloo needs to find becuase he is her guardian on earth and can lead them to the sacred temple. All go on a journey and pick up yet another fun character in Ruby Rod (Christ Tucker was awesome) and have to get away from the eveil scorge who is out to stop them.
The movie is filled with fun characters, great action, a good story line and plot, and one amazing singing alien diva.

It Continues...
Our favorite characters continue their journey. In this book I must say Arya is my favorite. She shows her true Stark strength unlike her sister whom Im beginning to get annoyed by. As the game of thrones is played characters are starting to bud into true players. Some who dont want to play the game find themselves thrust into it.
Martin does get a little wordy in this book but the plotline thickens and its worth the read. Like the other two books I couldnt put it down. My copy was just called A Storm of Swords with no other title.

Quietly Empowering
Realistically, this isn't the most thrilling or exciting story I've ever read. It's a story about a mostly ordinary journey in a realistic world. But when the story was over, it really stayed with me.
It's hard to find a book that is as equally entertaining as it is empowering. This is the first fictional book I've read in a long while where I have cheered out loud "You go girl!" as I went through it.
To anyone interested, I suggest reading / listening to "Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between)" before this book, because of all the fun insights it gives you into "Someday, Someday, Maybe".

The first books in Stuart Gibbs's three series with Simon and Schuster in one paperback collection. You've got Belly Up, about the murder of a hippo at the new mega FunJungle. Then you'll join Spy School with Ben. Finally, you'll journey to the first colony on the moon and solve a murder there.
All three of these books are delightful. The characters are strong and the plots move forward quickly with great twists and turns. No matter what your age, you'll turn these pages as quickly as possible and then move on to the other books in these series.

Very well written and will leave you begging for the sequel!!
This is an amazing book...the first series I have been super excited about in a long time. The characters are very multi-dimensional with good and bad traits. You take a journey with the main character, Elloren, and see the world and other characters the way she does. The author is phenomenal at showing versus telling so you see the world that she has created and feel the history behind all of the cultures.
I have not been this excited about a series since Harry Potter. I have read this book 3 times and cannot wait until The Light Mage and The Iron Flower are available!!!

Finding Jesus in Israel: Through the Holy Land on the Road Less Traveled by Buck Storm witty and poignant book. Buck Storm is the books tourist guide and takes the reader on a journey to locations and scenes off the well-traveled bus routes. Discover internal struggles of the people, the land and self mixed with humor and sadness as well. For those of us who dream of an Israel trip while reality deems that unlikely in this lifetime, this gem provides us with a glimpse of the landscape and climate: politically, socially and spiritually.
