Quietly Empowering
Realistically, this isn't the most thrilling or exciting story I've ever read. It's a story about a mostly ordinary journey in a realistic world. But when the story was over, it really stayed with me.

It's hard to find a book that is as equally entertaining as it is empowering. This is the first fictional book I've read in a long while where I have cheered out loud "You go girl!" as I went through it.

To anyone interested, I suggest reading / listening to "Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between)" before this book, because of all the fun insights it gives you into "Someday, Someday, Maybe".

The first books in Stuart Gibbs's three series with Simon and Schuster in one paperback collection. You've got Belly Up, about the murder of a hippo at the new mega FunJungle. Then you'll join Spy School with Ben. Finally, you'll journey to the first colony on the moon and solve a murder there.

All three of these books are delightful. The characters are strong and the plots move forward quickly with great twists and turns. No matter what your age, you'll turn these pages as quickly as possible and then move on to the other books in these series.

Very well written and will leave you begging for the sequel!!
This is an amazing book...the first series I have been super excited about in a long time. The characters are very multi-dimensional with good and bad traits. You take a journey with the main character, Elloren, and see the world and other characters the way she does. The author is phenomenal at showing versus telling so you see the world that she has created and feel the history behind all of the cultures.

I have not been this excited about a series since Harry Potter. I have read this book 3 times and cannot wait until The Light Mage and The Iron Flower are available!!!

Finding Jesus in Israel: Through the Holy Land on the Road Less Traveled by Buck Storm witty and poignant book.  Buck Storm is the books tourist guide and takes the reader on a journey to locations and scenes off the well-traveled bus routes. Discover internal struggles of the people, the land and self mixed with humor and sadness as well. For those of us who dream of an Israel trip while reality deems that unlikely in this lifetime, this gem provides us with a glimpse of the landscape and climate: politically, socially and spiritually.

I received this ARC from Worthy Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I have this book 4/5 stars.

Raw, emotional, outstanding
From the second I started this book I couldn't put it down, what an emotional rollercoaster of a book. Following the story of a man's journey with mental illness and his romantic relationship with his first love.
I fell in love with the characters, I felt their pain, their joy and their love. I cried, alot, happiness and sadness. This book was written with so much insight and knowledge showing the reality of mental health issues and the impact on the individual their lives and their relationships. Danny baker is an author I admire and who can really create an intense and a read that you just can't put down.

Before I finally started reading One Piece, I knew it was wildly popular. The books and merchandise are all over, and have been for years. I guess I can see why it's popular now. The story is silly and hilarious! Such a fun break from reality. Luffy is a young man that has the simple goal of becoming the king of pirates. He's clueless, has no sensible fear, is randomly looking for a pirate crew to call his own, and oh yeah. He ate some magical fruit as a child and is now a rubber man! The premise makes sense, but the situations and characters along the way in his journey make it all funny!

MoMo’s Book Diary enjoyed C.J. Spammer’s debut novel “Misled” and recommends this as a 5 star read.

I found this an emotional novel. Very gripping. I couldn’t put it down once I started – unfortunately I started reading just before going to bed and I was then up most of the night because even after I had finished the characters and the story stayed with me.

A fantastic book that takes the reader on a rollercoaster journey through the struggles of Sara who is affected by Bipolar Disorder in alternating chapters of now and then – then, being when it all went wrong.

I would like to thank CJ Spammer for the opportunity to read and review this novel.

Ice hockey and smut what’s bad about that? Violet, accountant and step sister to a professional NHL hockey player is dragged along to see a game and meets eyes with Alex. What follows is a delightfully funny, dirty journey through lust into love.
Knowing the reputation of the hockey players Violet tries to resist the MC, but suffers from a lapse in sensibility, and ends up tumbling in bed with Waters.
Waters is not exactly portrayed by the media in a good way, and he has some poor advice to manage too. Puck bunny or long term relationship??
Absolutely hilarious dialogue, well written and the write length, I look forward to reading more...

This historical drama is unusual but entertaining for anyone who loves period pieces with detail and a slightly surreal flourish. It has a beautifully described backdrop of 18th century London and a cast of characters that fill the pages with their dreams, obsessions and whimsies. Jonah Hancock is shocked to discover that the Captain of his ship has sold the vessel in exchange for… a mermaid. The acquisition of such a rare find catapults Hancock into the highest circles of society and into the path of Angelica Neal, a beautiful courtesan in need of assistance. Their journey is changed by the creature, leading you to ponder the power of these mythical creatures. An enjoyable Georgian romp.

Amazing Grace (2019)
Amazing Grace (2019)
2019 | Documentary, Music
Those who prefer standard documentaries which feature talking heads and charter a subject’s life, will probably be frustrated or put off by this documentary. To call it a documentary is perhaps the wrong term. Amazing Grace goes beyond the usual constraints of the documentary format and as a result we are left with a more intimate portrait of the singer. As they say an image tells a thousand words. To sum up, Amazing Grace is more than just amazing. It’s a soulful, spiritual, spellbounding, and stunning journey. Do try to seek it out on the big screen and with a large audience. You will not regret your decision.
