This book will take you on a stellar journey, not all of it nice, but all of it completely gripping. Marlena left her boyfriend three months ago after things made a turn for the worse. She has made the decision to get her life back under her own control, no one else's. One of the ways in which she does this is to make a major move to a new home, new city, new job. She starts her new job and literally falls for Elias, after she has walked into him! Marlena has a journey of discovery to embark upon as she has to learn to trust herself, and others, which trying to avoid getting hurt, if at all possible.
I loved this book! You get it from the points of view of Marlena and Travis, who, I have to say, is an incredibly well-written villain. I don't like him, not one bit, but he is completely three-dimensional. He is a true brute and I can't abide him. Elias, Sin and Shelby are all intriguing characters and let me just say, I nearly threw my kindle at the wall!! To get so close to finding out their story and then for the book to finish... well, yes!
For those of you that like your stories with a darker edge (like abuse or stalking for example), then I can highly recommend this story. A.M. Wilson reminds me of Alex Grayson for some reason, although I don't know why. Perhaps it is because they've both written exceptional stories in a hard-hitting genre. Whatever the reason, this book rocks!

I loved this book! You get it from the points of view of Marlena and Travis, who, I have to say, is an incredibly well-written villain. I don't like him, not one bit, but he is completely three-dimensional. He is a true brute and I can't abide him. Elias, Sin and Shelby are all intriguing characters and let me just say, I nearly threw my kindle at the wall!! I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved this book! I’ve tried so hard to pace my self and enjoy every word. The world building, the character building, the artwork and the story were just perfect. This book certainly takes you on a journey. It’s kinda gotta some Witcher vibes but Vampires. I could seriously ramble on all day long on how detailed and how heartbreaking Gabriel’s journey is and we see his relationship with Dior develop and we see this stoic hard faced man start to thaw just a touch! The art work is beautiful and enhances the story and vision. This has to be my favourite book of the year so far! The writing was just brilliant and some of the lines were good especially the opening line just brilliant!!

Well that was a much longer book than I was expecting. I loved it! The world building and characters were so good I did struggle at first there was a lot of information thrown at you but once it was ingrained it was just so enjoyable to read. I enjoy these epic journey books with female characters that are strong and capable instead of whinny and annoying. I think to get the most out of these long massive world building books you have to have some patience and not force yourself to enjoy them. Definitely looking forward to more.

What you'd expect from the hilarious Alan Partridge
This is as hilarious as you'd expect if you're an Alan Partridge fan. The audiobook, however, is so much better as Alan reads it in his own dulcet tones. While I've heard it's not as good as "I, Partridge", if you're reading this first, it matters less.
In this episode of his life, Alan is intent on rambling through parts of Britain in the form of a "journey journal", where he details the people and places he encounters. And mostly complain about his aching feet. Obviously things go horribly wrong.
Alan's rather blunt feelings and tendency to state the obvious comes through in all of the random footnotes. I had to suppress a few laughs on the bus due to some rather amusing moments. A great laid back read.

Going back in time
After recovering spock and getting him reacquainted with everyone they have to find a way home. Having dstroyed the Enterprise and taken a Klingon war ship they begin their journey back to earth only to find out that it is under attack by an alien life form that is capable of shutting down the planet. After reading into the life form the understand that they are trying to communicate with a certain species that they realize has been extinct for quite sometime. They decide to travel back to a year where they can try and aquire the species they need. A fun story with tons of twists and turns.
Whoever has seen then might laugh at this fact. they steal a vehicle from Christopher Lloyd and travel back i time to set time correct.
