Who says picture books are just for kids? This is just the cutest thing ever. I have so many more questions festering in my head, some maybe not for young'uns, like how did Octi's parents really meet? Are they still together? How does their home work if one lives in water and the other on land? What does a family reunion look like? If Octi had a sibling, how would he/she look? OMG, I need a sequel!

Creepy but cute and oh so Gaiman
I just always love Gaiman's children's books because even though they are meant for kids adults can also easily enjoy them and I really think it's because he does not simplify the stories.

I really wish I would have been able to read The Wolves In The Walls when I was a kid because I know I would have just loved it! The story is weird and cute but also creepy with very unique art.

I thought this movie was very good. But for a superhero movie I felt like it had more foul language and scary parts than your average hero film. I wouldn't reccomend bringing younger kids if they get scared easily. I did enjoy the humorous parts, and the part of the sidekick played by Jack Dylan Grazer was great. The writing was good, and Mark Strong as the villain is always a good choice.

A 17-year-old's death springboards reporter Eve Diamond into the culture of the parachute kids who come to America for an education. But who wanted to kill the teenage girl? The characters are great, however they are under served by a plot that wanders all over the place. I was done with it long before I reached the end.

The Grimm family is on the edge of finally freeing Sabrina and Daphne's parents from the sleeping spell they are under. Meanwhile, their friend the Big Bad Wolf is being tried for his crimes. This entire series is lots of fun, and it provides some nice twists to the familiar fairy tale characters. Aimed at kids, any adult will enjoy it.

Ricky is asked to help stop a crime by pretending to be a juvenile delinquent to help his grandparents stop the crime wave at the mobile home park they run. However, the vandalism he thinks he's after is just the tip of the iceberg. Once again, this is a crafty mystery filled with great characters kids (and adults) will love.

Ok, so I saw a recommendation online for a movie on Netflix called "Teeth". I looked it up and watched it. It's a dark-comedy/horror film. This one was weird. Do NOT watch it with kids as it has a lot of sexual content and some pretty gross scenes. It was made well enough. The acting was a bit, meh, but not too bad. The story had some, well, sick twists... anyway, worth a watch if you're into horror films.

What movie fits this description?

Ben Cash his wife Leslie and their six children live deep in the wilderness of Washington state. Isolated from society, Ben and Leslie devote their existence to raising their kids -- educating them to think critically, training them to be physically fit and athletic, guiding them in the wild without technology and demonstrating the beauty of co-existing with nature. When Leslie dies suddenly, Ben must take his sheltered offspring into the outside world for the first time.
