"This was the first in a series of books that feature a mouse, a vain cat, and a wombat. Everything the wombat says is nonsense (“Oh wonderful, fish—my favorite fruit.”), and it made me howl with laughter as a kid. I was brought up in East Africa, and was at school with all the international kids. We’d all been given our copies of A.A.Milne and Dr. Seuss, but people know those books. The Muddleheaded Wombat deserves a place among them."

"I enjoy reading epic stories from ancient history and in recent years have been reading abridged versions aloud to my kids. This epic poem was found on a series of ancient tablets from Mesopotamia written down over 4,000 years ago, and involves the central character Gilgamesh, an excessive and oppressive leader, and his arduous journey in pursuit of the secrets of immortality. His character evolves through his personal voyage towards accepting death, and you encounter so many tales that you recognize from history."

I did enjoy this. It took a while for things to progress into anything that was a little steamy but the tension was raging higher in every argument/exchange between them so it was really only a matter of time.

I was a little surprised by the bundle of energy that appeared a little after the half way point but I do have a soft spot for cute kids in my books.

I'm looking forward to reading more books by the author.

okay so lets start by saying this has been the action hit of the fall so far that ive seen very exciting its no family show but this is quite intreging and very fast moving a show that may be too graphic for some but is perfect for others a nonstop thriller filled with chills bumps twist and curves around every corner

I have never really been into science fiction novels, steering more toward fantasy. Enders game was probably the first science fiction book I've read and I was so impressed. The idea of video gamers being chosen for war is brilliant and the development of all the characters is very intriguing. The psychology used on the kids is fascinating, brutal and so effective its scary. Loved delving into this novel and hope one day theres a film that is actual worth it.
