I really wanted this book to be useful, especially I've I have just yet another health kick. However, there seemed to be a lot of words and not a lot of substance.
I received this book on my #kindle It was poorly formatted for the kindle with a lot of sentences repeated with paragraph, different don't sizes and pages referenced that just didn't exist. As far as I'm aware I didn't get a sample copy but the pages referenced to were in triple figures whereas my copy must have had about 50 pages. There was also a lot of "do this survey on this website" which I didn't like. I'm also a bit dubious about the "facts" given in this book, for example how yoga can be as effective as the FODMAP diet for IBS. I was also hoping for some more recipes, because, as the title suggests, the book is a "digest guide" and how can one digest without a ton of food. But there were only a few and they were thrown in the back of the book. On the whole, somewhat disappointing

The Nameless City
By H.P. Lovecraft
The Nameless City of the story's title is an ancient ruin located somewhere in the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula and is older than any human civilization
As someone who isn’t very wordy and struggles with certain terms I’ve always sort of stayed away from H.P. Lovecraft but my husband installed all the Novellas onto my kindle so I thought what the hell let’s give it a go! I don’t pretend or write big long fancy reviews so this won’t be as intelligent as some you read if you read it at all!
So I enjoyed this short I felt so claustrophobic during the crawl through the hidden corridors and found myself getting involved in the story. This even to me is the whole point of writing to bring your reader into the world you’re creating. I did have to find out a few of the big words as like I said I’m not entirely sure of some of the language used! I’m not entirely hooked from one short book but I’m certainly intrigued!

Thank you to the publisher, author and Blind Date With A Book for this Kindle copy.
Colleen Nye's romantic novel was just not my cup of tea. Apart from the fact that it was sickly sweet it felt like reading a Disney novel. It seemed very far-fetched and the writing style was a little bit too simple. Just to say I am not a fan of the romantic genre anyway and received this as part of a great initiative to read books that are not your usual milieu.

Disappointing Direction for the Series
The series title, 'The Haunting' led me to believe that the series would be centred on a haunting - or even hauntings (multiple) - but it really isn't.
The writing feels rushed, it's poorly edited with inconsistencies, and seems to 'borrow' a lot from other writers and stories.
I wasn't sure whether to continue with the series, given how disappointed I was with this book, but given that the whole series was included in the Kindle Unlimited subscription, I decided to give the writer the benefit of the doubt.

Best App to Track Reading & Personal Library Management
This is by far one of my favorite apps on my phone. I love using the app to keep track of books that I have read and books that I own. I also love the integration that the app has with my Kindle. It makes it easy for me to keep track of the books I have read and also to find new books that I am interested in. If you are a reader, you need to be on Goodreads.

Book works paradise
I love using Goodreads to keep track of all the different books I read. It is my favorite app, not just for setting and tracking goals, but for finding new authors, discovering new genres, and figuring out where a series starts. It has saved me hours and money by telling me in what order a series goes, as well as little inbetween stories to read. I love how simple and user friendly it is, and that you can sync it with your kindle

This was a kindle first pick for me a long time ago, I really liked this story, be it that it was very hard to follow at first. Even though it was short and some details were glossed over that could have welcomed more attention paid to them I found the love story endearing. Because, afterall, this was a love story. I thought it could have focused more on PTSD and PPD but it was a love story and not something that was supposed to focus on the realities of these disorders.
