"They might get angry with me for recommending this one. That’s how amazingly courageous the author is. Wendy is a professor at the New England School of Law in Boston. Served as a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School as a former Massachusetts Prosecutor who specialized in child abuse and sex crimes. She certainly does not aspire to climb the ladder of worldly success – such as to become a supreme court judge one day, since she dares to name all the judges in this book who have wronged in their profession. I got a little scared recommending this book myself. But her fight for mandatory sentencing laws for child sex offenders has been very successful in all fifty States in United States. It also gives credit to the American public which truly care for the issue. And why the blurbs all call her Wendy, instead of Ms. Murphy? Maybe she is fortunate to be a woman so they all want to call her by her first name!"

Interesting True crime drama
A good drama based on a true story. A detective makes a decision to try and find a missing girl that will have repercussions for the case. The first few episodes were good as the police do the detective work to try and find a missing girl. They establish a suspect and try their best to find out where she is and what happened to her. The latter episodes deal with the court case and legal disputes over certain evidence. The beginning is like many other crime dramas, very tense trying to find a suspect and build up evidence. However the 2nd half of the series is bogged down by the legal red tape over the law of questioning suspects. Hard to believe that the law still hasn't been changed yet around this ruling. It is more interesting as it's a true crime drama though.

This film is one of my favorite Christmas movies. My family is very much like the Griswolds, where Murphy's Law rules and everything is a mess. The quips throughout still make me laugh. I'm a huge fan of the quiet quip, and this movie is full of them.

"Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?"

Kate WInslet and Jack Black (0 more)
This film is saved by Kate Winslet and Jack Black, I just love their understated relationship and how it develops, their characters seem genuine and I root for them every time! Cameron Diaz overacts her role, I am not a lover of Jude Law and the scenes with his children are twee. Nevertheless in the UK this film is on every Christmas and I watch it every Christmas!
