I don't think I ever really listened to a rap song by Ice-T. I really enjoy him on Law & Order: SVU and I like his reality show with his wife. So I thought I would give the book a listen. I learned a lot of interesting things about him and made me like him a little more. If you have followed Ice-T, you probably know all this stuff, but it was interesting for me to find out about his background.

This is a bone chilling page turner! Supernatural meets The Exorcist meets Law & Order in a gripping story that has just the right amount of humor, fear, suspense and resolution.

This book read like a dream. I couldn’t put it down. The story grabs your from the first page. There’s no boring build up. From the first paragraph your thrown into the fight.

This novel is truly amazing. The interpersonal relationships are detailed and vivid. The characters are extremely realistic and relatable. The plot is unique and the treatment of common situations in unconventional and unexpected ways is terrific. To me, the best part, is the exploration of pre-conceived notions of how one should feel and act, and how through time, shared experiences and personal growth, that changes and evolves. I loved it so much I will give a copy to my mother-in-law.

Channing Hayes' is trying to help his almost sister-in-law begin a solo stand up comic career while he recovers from the accident that took his fiancee. On the night of her big break, she vanishes. Why? Can Channing find her? The characters were enjoyable, especially Channing, but the plot was a series of events with no real detective work involved.
