Loved this story of learning to forgive, it touched me greatly, as this is something I struggle with. Would highly recommend reading this well laid out story. It goes between past and present, and looks like the story from the past will continue through the next book. I am looking forward to reading more from this author :) thanks Robin for the wonderful book.

Reading the second book I realized these were stand-alone books which makes it easier if you have a later book. Frankie's diary, like Draculaura's, was a fun ride and I enjoyed learning more about one of the more minor characters, Isi. Frankie, as always is full of energy which is contrasted by Isi's quieter personality. Again, it was overall good, quick read.

"I learned over the years – by meeting legitimate jazz musicians who knew Mezzrow and the people he wrote about in the book – that this memoir was filled with apocryphal stories. But it had a great impact on me because I was learning to be a jazz clarinet player, like Mezzrow, and learning to play the idiom of music that he and Bernard Wolfe wrote about. The story, while probably just a lot of junk, was compelling for me because it was about many musicians whose work I knew and admired and the ins and outs of jazz joints that I knew about and the legendary songs that were played in the legendary nightclubs. So I had a great time reading it when my own jazz passion was forming. But I know it's not a very good or even a very honest book."

I am relatively new to the world of Podcasts and luckily for me Spirits was one of the first I came across. It immediately became a must listen for me. I love learning the history of various mythologies and stories from around the world, as well as the hilarious tangents that the girls often go down.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.
This is a story about learning who you truly are, fighting the system, and overcoming death even if it is temporary. Add in a slow build romance that feels real and you have rosemarked.
Zivah and Dineas's story is told from alternating points of view. The author does a fantastic job of portraying each view point.

I'm not capable of being objective about this film - it is one of my all time favourites, however it has a fantastic story and it's brilliantly delivered - albeit a bit gorily in places. However if you need one reason to watch this film, let it be for the fantastic scene that shows the protagonists linguistic journey to learning a new language.

I got this free on the Amazon Kindle store so figured I might as well give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. It had elements of sci-fi but the usual Young adult genre fit right in. I enjoyed learning about all the characters and finished this book rather quickly. I am now on the second and there are 2 more after that!

English to Chinese has no explanations, they just start you off with learning both the symbols and words without knowing the English translations of them. Sometimes the app freezes in the middle of a lesson. (0 more)
I use the app on a daily basis to study French. Have dabbled in Swedish, Chinese, Japanese, Esperanto, Welsh, and Gaelic.

Pinertest is amazing. you can find everything under the sun. Sometimes the articles or websites no longer exist and I have lost pins even after pinning them more than once, but an awesome app and site. I have lost hours on this site deciding on my next project or learning something new.
