This game when played with a full group of newbies is alright, but anyone with previous knowledge of groups and teams can have a large advantage over others playing

This is a good book for kids in younger grades (up to 3rd grade). A wonderful story of learning to do what is right even when it is hard. And the bonus lesson if not judging a book by its cover because people can surprise you.

"I learned so much from KRS-One and Public Enemy, more than I did in schools. About African culture. Just learning, metaphysics, different things from hip hop records back in those days. You couldn’t be a dumb rapper, it was about being smart back in those days."

Fighting with My Family (2019)
Fighting with My Family (2019)
2019 | Biography, Comedy, Drama
I loved this movie because the messages it tells are universal. You might think this is a movie about wrestling, but I felt like it wasn't, wrestling is just the backdrop for a story about ambition, doing hard things, and interpersonal relationships. It's about a family that has some issues but is better than most in the way they treat each other. It's about learning what you're really good at, seeing the value you have in your community, and learning not to pass judgment on others. It put all of these messages really nicely into a great story. AND it made me appreciate wrestling more.

Perfect learning tool
Have to say, thus is a great app for languages. It covers basics and advanced elements in fun and easy to understand ways.
Aside from failing because I could not say the word loudly on the train, it uses a range of tools to help you learn.
While it would be better if you could pick specific things to focus on, and allow you to skip ahead of you are already experienced, it is still a great app for practicing. Ideal as a full learning tool, or to enhance your lessons, it is worth a go, we all learn differently.

Cute Love Story
Hamilton is so big right now. I love that this is the story of Alex and Eliza! There are a bit more details in this book that are true to life than in the musical. I loved continuing the story and learning more about Alexander's life.

I love the patterns in this book.

Wonderfully clear patterns with lots of pictures to aid the descriptions. These would make a great lifecycle learning aid for younger children. I would never have expected to say that a fly was "cute" ... but in this book it actually is.

It's definitely fun to try and live in the Harry Potter world and be a witch and wizard at Hogwarts. It's cool learning the potions and spells and definitely brings back a nostalgic feeling. (0 more)
I wish it was a little more interactive with the spellcasting and potion making. (0 more)

"I love surprising scientific findings, as well as information about how our brains work. This is a treasure trove of both. Turns out, our brains are constantly misleading us. It’s not clear that learning how that’s the case reduces the chances of it happening, but it’s fascinating nonetheless."

It was slow going at first, but my interest increased with each story and I was excited to read about Celaena's past. Learning her love story with Sam was both enlightening and sad at the same time. However, I'm looking forward to getting back to the current story.
