My daughter had me try this one and I've been hooked since. I've always enjoyed word searches and this is similar, only you are trying to find words with the letters you are given. Lots of updates keep this game going.

"I'm reading The Letters of Vincent Van Gogh, which is basically a collection of correspondence from Vincent to his brother Theo. I entirely recommend it, but not for the faint hearted. It is a blazingly honest look into the depths of a man's struggling soul."

Classic Pike. Group of friends commit some heinous act that they don't tell anyone about and wacky shenanigans ensue. I have to say the letters freaked me out a lot more when I first read this book. The ending still makes me sniffly, though.

"One of the most intimate films I have ever seen. With nothing more than recited letters from Akerman’s mother and largely static shots of streets and subways, the film is an impossibly personal portrait of New York, young adulthood, parents, and the inexorable passage of time."

On an album full of radio experiments, some succeed—“100 Letters,” “Walls Could Talk” and “Alone” demonstrate the perennially fertile sound of alt-pop—and some inevitably fail.

"This book is a series of letters that a young Nina wrote to her sister back home after she became the live-in babysitter for an astonishingly interesting London family in the 1980s. She’s hilarious about the goings on. And Alan Bennett was their friend and neighbor. ‘Nuff said."

Metamorphabet: Imaginative ABC's App for Kids

Let your imagination run wild with creativity and alphabets. Covering A-Z kids can tap letters to life. Imagine the letter B with a Beard and a Beak, a flying foot with feathers and fan or an Egg Eating Elephant balancing on Earth.

Letters from the Earth is an alternative outfit. Not too long ago, they released a music video for their “Frank Ghilardi Sends Off a Long-Tenured Employee” single.

“‘Frank Ghilardi Sends Off a Long-Tenured Employee’ illuminates the life of a typical employee. Also, it examines the true value of work in the west. The song’s surrealist music video finds a somber employee attending her own absurd retirement party. Where, Foster, portraying the titular Frank Ghilardi, presents his melancholic address.” – Letters from the Earth

‘Frank Ghilardi Sends Off a Long-Tenured Employee’ tells an interesting tale in the form of a farewell speech. Also, the speech is delivered from a fictional company head to an unnamed subordinate.

The likable tune contains a relatable storyline and ear-welcoming vocals. Also, it possesses charming instrumentation which was produced and mixed by Ben Hirschfield (Against Me!, The Story So Far, and Elder Brother).

“It’s okay to cry. You’ve made it alive through forty years here at Ghilardi. Don’t be afraid of your life turning gray. There’ll be no more files to be sorted. No people to wave you on at the gate. No phone calls to take, no lunches to make, no more coming home to dinners alone.” – lyrics

Letters from the Earth consists of Matt Foster (vocals, guitar), Ben Hirschfield (guitar, keys, synth), Cameron MacBain (drums), and Morgan Foster (bass).

"This is another book from my childhood that I love and cherish. The simple use of letters as words delighted me as a child and continues to as an adult as I am now quite adept at texting and utilize a lot of Steig in my texts, tweets and ‘grams."
