A fabulous book that will keep you on the edge of your seat every step of the way!
Couldn't put this one down! Joe is a good man, loving father, and devoted husband. After being the wrong place at the right time, everything he thought he knew begins to fall apart. An incredible story, filled with lies and betrayal, persistence and some incredible twists! My first book by this author and I'll surely be back for more!

Rabih Alameddine | 2015 | Fiction & Poetry

Book Favorite

"The breathtaking beauty of Alameddine’s prose alone makes this compulsive reading. Its true genius, however, lies in the sacrosanct ideas that the narrator—a translator of books that will never be read—lays bare with humorous irreverence, wry insouciance, or intellectual outrage. She is fearless in looking at aging and death, the morality of war and survival, and the true meaning of a meaningful life. She also gives advice on not dying your hair blue in bad light."

Book Favorite

"I’m a big fan of police procedurals, and when it comes to bringing the steps of a labyrinthine investigation to life, Tana French is up there with the very best. However, in her Dublin Murder Squad series she does so much more than this. Her exquisitely drawn characters combine to peel back the surface of modern Ireland and give us a fascinating and vivid glimpse into the culture—both good aspects and bad—that lies beneath."

I can't lie - I felt a thrill when I realized Tarryn had written from Leah's point of view, after I freaked out, of course! As much as I hate Leah, I loved reading from the villain's perspective. All the twists and turns, all the lies, it was all in epic proportions and there was no way I could predict what was next. Despite that tiny thrill, I was happy to get away from her evil thoughts and endless plots.
