A Twisting Tale of Back-Stabbing and Lies
You could make an argument that this is the greatest crime movie ever committed to film. At the very least it's up there with other greats such as Pulp Fiction, The Godfather and Scorsese's own Goodfellas. I don't think I have ever been in as much shock after watching a movie as I was after this one, the ending is polarising, but I love it. A perfect movie in every way.

Another thrilling page-turner from James. A definite step up in form from the previous instalment, Fire in the Blood. Cullen is this time part of the team investigating the apparent suicide of a young man in West Lothian. As usual, the case expands from there with the body count increasing and the twists and turns, lies and confessions are in abundance.
Other than one or two slightly clunky plot devices (working out someone's identity from their chat board user name) this was a compelling, well-written crime novel.

fantastic read
This is the second book in this series by this author. You definitely need to read book one in this series first. This book is filled with passion, jealously, lies, secrets and heartache. These amazing characters have fantastic intense chemistry between them. In this book the story starts to come together and the story between the characters is so beautiful. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Heart-Wrenching
I just finished reading this beautifully written heart-wrenching story and the tears flowing down my face are like a waterfall. You don't have to be a parent to comprehend or truly experience the many emotions that you'll go through while reading this book.

This author has written a story full of love, lies and overwhelming despair that reaches deep into your soul and shatters it into a million pieces as the startling truth of the night Olivia fell is revealed. This is just one of those books that will forever haunt you.

Not my favourite Xmen movie.
Jean Grey wasn't my favourite Xmen anyway while she is overshadowed by the greatness that is Wolverine and Professor X. But this movie didn't make me like her any more. Granted, it didn't make me dislike her more but I just thought her character wasn't fully realised within the film. Whether that was the actors fault or the director I don't know. Thank goodness it lies in a separate timeline to some of the other Xmen films because I will not be watching this again.
