Andrew Koltuniuk (767 KP) rated Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Books

I thoroughly enjoy Goblet of Fire. It is a lot of fun and it was nice to see Rowling introduce a lot of new characters and still be able to have a good story and a fun plot. Really enjoy this book. Less than Azkaban, but its really good.

Thematically interesting
Pandemic is a lot of board gamers first cooperative game, and for that it has a lot of value. A lot of people have fond memories getting destroyed over and over, feeling that their first win was a big accomplishment. Unfortunately, after your first few wins, the game loses a lot of its charm. You start to recognize the patterns, and can pretty much tell within the first few terms if your group is going to win. As a result, this game is likely gathering dust in a lot of people's collections: too nostalgic to sell, but not good enough to play.
The game also suffers a lot of the basic problems of cooperative games. Experienced players quarterbacking is common. The randomness of the cards drawn is frustrating. The roles drawn don't always work well together (and can largely dictate if you win).
Overall, I would still recommend this to a new board gamer. But I would still probably recommend the Legacy versions more highly.

This was an interesting story. Different from my normal reads but entertaining enough to hold my attention. This one kept my emotions running in all sorts of directions. I was never sure what was going to happen next and it hit on a lot of yoga information. Either the author did a lot of research or really enjoys yoga because she seemed to know what she was talking about. It was a lot of fun to read and I enjoyed it

Disappointed to say the least. I've not read the book but I'm a big fan of Stephen King and so many of his stories have gone on to be great films....despite what a lot seem to think? This is very average though and pretty straight forward. A good cast line up with a lot of well known faces, now if not back in '93. Apparently a lot has been left out from the book as well. One for die hard fans maybe.
