It took me awhile to get into this book. It was detailed with a lot of back story included. The back story ends up being a big part of the story but not until the very end.

Atmospheric chiller
A decent British film that has plenty of creepy atmosphere, without ever really being scary. A good British cast with a lot of recognizable faces give a good performance collectively and the story is interesting.
