Wow. What an incredible film. This film has a lot of heart as well as a really good story. Matt Damon and Christian Bale really shine in this movie and give fantastic performances. What a cool story and what an excellent way it was made!

Cute but eh
I get it, it's sweet story with a lot of meaning which I can appreciate. However, I found it boring to read. If it wasn't so short I probably wouldn't had made the effort to finish.

The Unintentional Wish (42 KP) created a post

This week has been crazy. But it's getting better. And with 30+ plus books to keep me company and nine more seasons of Grey's Anatomy, AND a whole a lot of Jesus. I will be ok I know I will that's my promise from God.

I found this difficult to read as the language and tone is quite complex and poetic and I was looking for an easy fun read. The characters seemed real enough but I found the storyline jumped around erratically and left me confused a lot.

I enjoyed the movie, but as with a lot of books turned into movies, I thought it could've been better. To me, the movie felt a bit rushed and some parts of the book that were omitted shouldn't have been. Over all, I liked it.

Quite enjoyable. A lot better than Suicide Squad.
This film was fun with great performances by the cast. However, for some people, it may be quite violent for them.

I really didn't enjoy this as much as Book 1. I felt like it was maybe a time filler? Not a lot happened that was really relevant to the journey and it just left me with unanswered questions, still moving on to Book 3 though.

I really liked the first one but this one...well I liked it but I found myself putting it down a lot and finding other things to do beside finish this book.

I don't think I'm in a hurry to read the next one.

"Long before I started to write in earnest, Lorrie Moore taught me you could have a woman narrator who was funny and complex and even wrong-headed. She opened up a lot of space that me and a million other women rushed in to."
