Meg Dean (138 KP) rated Wayfinder (Worldwalker Duology, #2) in Books
Jun 20, 2018
What to say about this book? It could have been shorter...there was a lot of description about things that she heard/saw/felt that just kept repeating...it wasn't bad...a solid 3 stars, right in line with the first one.
Not a fav. but not one I regret either :c)

Meg Dean (138 KP) rated EcoThrifty: Cheaper, Greener Choices for a Happier, Healthier Life in Books
Jun 20, 2018
Not good, not bad. There are some good ideas in here, but not everything is feasable for everyone. She is a bit preachy at times...come off a lot like those vegans who try to make you feel like a horrible person for eating a chesseburger. Such is though. It's not for everyone!

Caffeinated Fae (464 KP) rated Changing His Game (Gamers #1) in Books
Jul 12, 2018
This was exactly what I needed. I really enjoyed this book. It was a lot of fun and the characters were geeky adorable and I could definitely relate to them. I do wish that I would have had more character development and more emotion but all in all, this was a fun read.

Samantha Holtsclaw (25 KP) rated Excerpts from the Bathroom Floor: Heartbreak & Healing in Books
Jun 29, 2018
I thought the poetry was very poignant and thought-provoking. It invoked a lot of emotions in me. I could tell that the writer was definitely speaking from her heart. The themes were a bit heavy at times though, so if fluffy poetry is what you're looking for, this is not for you.

Not a bad book - in the end, it's very slow and politically motivated and also - who cares that much about rugby to have nearly an entire chapter on the subject - I sure as heck dont - if the pace was faster and not such a slow burn I'd have liked it a lot more!

Roxanne (13 KP) rated Norman The Slug With The Silly Shell in Books
Nov 14, 2018
Norman is a slug that wants to be a snail so he can join in with his snail friends as he feels a bit left out. This is a really good read for children as it's very bright, colourful and a lot of fun. My daughter likes to count the piles of snails.
