ashezbookz (32 KP) rated An American Cinderella in Books
Jul 5, 2018
Not a bad book - in the end, it's very slow and politically motivated and also - who cares that much about rugby to have nearly an entire chapter on the subject - I sure as heck dont - if the pace was faster and not such a slow burn I'd have liked it a lot more!

Roxanne (13 KP) rated Norman The Slug With The Silly Shell in Books
Nov 14, 2018
Norman is a slug that wants to be a snail so he can join in with his snail friends as he feels a bit left out. This is a really good read for children as it's very bright, colourful and a lot of fun. My daughter likes to count the piles of snails.

Kirsty (29 KP) rated The Casual Vacancy in Books
Dec 4, 2018
The story is kind of dragged out and I feel like it could have been shortened a lot. It's basically telling the story of a small town but there just isn't enough excitement to capture me and make me want to keep reading as it just all feels like much of the same

AT (1676 KP) rated Parasyte, Vol. 2 in Books
Jul 19, 2019
Volume 2 of Parasyte had a lot more going on, plus more physical action. While Shin's parents are on vacation, an emergency takes Shin out of town. While on his trip, he runs into another parasyte that's successfully co-existing with a human. I enjoyed volume 2 more than the first one.
