Full of cliches (2 more)
Not scary or gory
Predicatable
Disappointing and full of cliches
This is a mediocre movie. It had an interesting concept but fell short and feels a lot like other movies out there.
It was not scary or gory and the truth & dares could have been a lot more ambitious.
I like a couple of the actors but no character felt likable. The movie was predictable and felt slow paced at times.
The CGI isn't too great when truth or dare is being asked. At least I think it's CGI bulecause it just looks too weird.
Ok the plus side I didn't fall asleep so I wouldn't say it's the most horrible movie. I also went into this with low expectations.

Alright - This book was alright - it was mid range for me. I had a hard time with the first half the book, a lot of it I found to be uninteresting and boring - but then the last half of the book came and it knocked my socks off. There was a lot going on (I still can't pronounce half the words and names), I enjoyed where the story went after a certain point, I didn't think I'd end up wanting to read Book 3 but now after the way this story has ended it just makes me want to request book 3 from the library. Darn those cliffhangers! Is it wrong how I think the dog is my favourite character in the book? No. okay.
ashezbookz (32 KP) rated Monday's Not Coming in Books

I really enjoyed this book - my only complaint, which I have seen in many reviews - was that the tenses jump so often it's hard to keep track. I honestly read without reading the chapter headings so it went smooth enough for me - toward the end though I did get more confused - when everything converged - to an unexpected ending (for me anyway) which I liked a lot - I think some of the bulk could have been taken out - just having flashbacks within the book - but it made you really connect to Monday and the rest which in the end I think was an important part of the book. I can't wait to read her other book(s) because I enjoyed it a lot.

Fun interactive social media app
I use this app to connect with alot of youtube vloggers because this seems to be their preferred social media. I can spend hours scrolling through the stories feature.
I use the explore tab to find new people to follow and I also realized that there are quite a few videos that feature clips from movies and tv shows and I have found a lot of good movie I otherwise would not have watched through the explore tab on instagram.
I also follow a lot of people who sell second hand books, clothes and toys on their page. Its always a surprise what I can find and its also a part of instagram that not many people seem to know about.

Not as good as the book
It was a good representation of the book, however it kind of droned on and was slow paced.
The book involved a lot more in-depth description of Elio and his feelings towards Oliver even though it was also quite slow paced. The depth of how the book was written though made up for it, as it kept you wanting to read it more.
I would most likely watch the film again as it is still quite good and is a great coming of age movie. Furthermore, there were some funny moments within the movie.
Would recommend the movie, however I think that the book is definitely worth reading as it portrays it a lot better

2 Star Rating __
This ended up being quite a difficult read for me as I found it very slow paced, there was so much build up to pretty much nothing in my opinion.
I found each character quite annoying and fairly dim to be honest as who really buys a property without seeing half of it? Not a lot of the storyline made a lot of sense and there were quite a few errors in the writing which was pretty distracting.
It wasn't all bad as there were a couple of chilling scenes but unfortunately they were very short lived, I wanted more scenes like that.
The idea for the story is indeed very original but in my opinion isn't very well executed.
Nevermind...

50 People Who Screwed Up Scotland
Book
To be Scottish is to have a lot to live down, and as Allan Brown shows, this lot do the job...
This is one of my favourite Stephen King books. I think because I like the weird ones (The Green Mile is also a favourite) over the more horror-themed ones.
The thing I see from a lot of other reviews is the length of the book. Personally I didn't notice it, but I quite enjoy longer books that really get into the details of the story and the characters. Sure, there's probably a lot of 'filler' that could be cut off this was ever made into a film, but I quite liked the little mundane details, it made the characters more real.
One of the few books that I have read again and again over the years.
