I do love me some Dex and Sloane. I like the rest of the gang but these two guys have been through a lot of ups and downs in their relationship and it's about time stuff went their way. That end bit had me all happy for them and I cannot wait to read the next book!

Oooh, that ended on a bit of a cliffy!

So we learned quite a lot of secrets and other things in this one. We learned who Leda's parents are and pretty much every secrets the God's have. But then that end bit... how can it end with a revelation like that?

Need to read book 8!

This is a surprisingly cute and fun holiday film -- and it encourages the belief that a woman can be Santa. Is the plot deep? No. Do we need our Christmas plots to be deep? No! There's whimsy, a lot of humor, and it works for both kids (mine loved it at age 8) and adults. Count me in.

"Jane Mayer of the New Yorker shines a bright light on the billionaires that are often secretly hijacking our democracy. I learned a lot reading this book including all of the shady tax-exempt vehicles billionaires use to push their agenda. A book like this could easily be tedious, but Mayer wrote a book that is gripping and enraging."

"“I like a good Brit gangster flick, so I like all of Guy Ritchie’s stuff. I like American gangster movies too, but for me, as an American, I feel like the British ones have an added quality to them. Because the culture is unfamiliar you get away from a lot of the clichés. They’re more gritty, less stylised.”"

"The Seat Of The Soul by Gary Zukav. It's basically about soul versus personality and multi-sensory personality versus the five-sensory personality - the people whose souls operate with spiritual guidance against people who can only see the earth, the beginning and the end. You really find out a lot about yourself when you read that book."

Kiss from a Rose by Seal

Track

"Kiss From A Rose". At the beginning, people know the intro and react [starts singing the melody]: "Bada-ba-ba-ba-ba-bada-ba..." You're never alone by the time you have to sing the "Baby!" which is the hard part because it gets high. Seal's got a lot of range. I do legit like that song."

""Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. I actually just started reading it - I'm telling you a good book to read I haven't finished people! Jay Z actually recommended that I read it - it gives you a lot of life lessons. In any business there are certain principles that would work in every walk of life and will help you.""

I love Faction Paradox more than I do NuWHO (only like the pre-2005 stuff)! However, this was not a lot of fun, especially when compared to the likes of THIS TOWN WILL NEVER LET US GO and NEWTON'S SLEEP! This was just zzzzz... The writing did not feel worthy of the Faction! But, hey, that's just my opinion.
