I found this surprisingly funny and enjoyed the sound track for the film. I'm not a big fan of Musicals and a lot of singing in films, but this still felt more like a Rom/com. You can tell the cast had a blast making this film. Give it a whirl.

No Isla Fisher
Wish I hadn't seen this
I quite liked the original film and hoped this would be more of the same. It's a shame Isla Fisher didn't return. Some of the scenes are ridiculous even for a "magic" film, some plot lines don't make a lot of sense. Overall it felt like a quick lower budget sequel.

This book had alot of potential, but it was terribly hard to get into. Ididn't like that I couldn't really develope a better connection with the three queens and also how nothing really happened until the last 50 pages. However the end did peak my interest and I have high hopes for the second one

Transformed Into A Decent Film In The Series
I actually quite enjoyed this film in the series,
They have made a decent film with a lot of humour and grand scenes. Would of liked a bit more of the dino bots they just kind of go missing after a while

Really great book, but BEWARE... if being inside the head of a pedophile creep is too much for you, you might want to skip some of the pages. Luckily there is a LOT more to it without the sick and twisted boy-lover's thoughts ruining the whole thing. It's something you don't get when you see the movie so it surprised me. Other than that, GREAT book!

For me the second age of the mistborn (Wax and Wayne) pale in comparison with the original trilogy. However, Bands of Mourning was a definite improvement over the previous 2 books. A lot of the post-Harmony history starts to be uncovered and some very interesting things hinted at. I am looking forward to the final second age book, and am expecting some fairly significant developments.

Quite a complicated magic system to get your head round, but it isn't done to death (it is hinted at early but is only really used in earnest quite a lot later in the book). There are aspects of other parts of the cosmere hinted at here (the gods being similar to those in elantris, using material items for powers). A good standalone contribution to the universe.

I have so much love for this book. As always we get an unorthodox, singular story with a lot of cleverness and humor from Penny Reid. She is becoming one of my favorites fast and, God, can we have Billy's story soon?

Tragic story of Irish communities
This book had a lot of similarities with Philomena. It's hugely tragic, about a woman who has been in an asylum for 80 years after being out there by malicious priests and community leaders, annulling her marriage and taking away her baby. While at times it seems improbable, the story of her psychiatrist trying to uncover her story is beautiful.

All time favorite
One of the best revenge stories ever written. I've read a lot of books, both modern and classics, but this one will always be my favorite.
One thing I thought would bother me are the Christian undertones throughout due to being an atheist, but though it was at times very religious, I never found it distracting even after having read it 6 times.
