This was just fun - you learn a lot about the different breeds of dogs - there's awesome pictures of them as pups to adults - they have temper/grooming/size and tidbits about how well the dog is in a family and it's super duper informative - and did I mention cute and fun? I can't wait to use it when we select a dog for our family!!

This is a very different kind of travel writing. Not only is there experience, but there is also a lot of history and so much can be learnt about the colonisation of India by the British and what happened after the British left. There are moments when experiences tug of your heartstrings, make you mad and make you happy. It's written very well, and highly recommended.

If you liked the first deadpool, you’ll like this one too. Just as funny as the first one and brings back some of the favourite characters from it too, like Dopinder the taxi driver and Teenage Negasonic Warhead, as well as some new characters who are just as lovable.
I’d definitely prefer a lot more marvel films to have the same sort of humour in them.

Just like any other Harry Potter fan, I read this book in a day. Loved the story, loved how it's all twisted with the previous parts and even though it doesn't contain all the mysteries and spells and magical moments, it has a lot to offer, like a deeply explained love between a father and a son, or a bravery and unsettled kid.. Lovely book!

One man and his dog: the early years. Alpha (2018) #Review
What if “Ice Age” but the human kid’s a lot older and it’s not played for laughs? What if “The Revenant” but, you know, good? Delayed for over a year, “Alpha” is finally in cinemas and it’s a real treat, if not exactly what the multiplex crowd may be expecting...

Dean (6925 KP) rated Jennifer's Body (2009) in Movies
Aug 30, 2018 (Updated Aug 31, 2018)
Hmm a bit of a mish, mash of a film, that doesn't seem to know its own identity. Is it a horror, comedy, B-movie or teenage drama. Well a tiny bit of all of that, without excelling in any one area. It's ok not overly funny, scary, gory or witty. It has some good one liners and effects but it could have been a lot better.

You can play a lot without spending a dime
Best game ever
I've been playing this game for about two years, and haven't gotten bored of it yet! The developers are always creating new content. I've never spent a dime on the game, although they do make it very tempting to do so. I love it and recommend it to everyone.
Dean (6925 KP) rated Gosford Park (2001) in Movies

A pretty good period drama with a touch of Whodunit? about it similar to an Agatha Christie film. Great largely all English cast, location, costumes. A lot of effort went into the production of the movie, noticeable in the attention to every detail. Has a slight twist as you would expect but may be a bit too slow for some.

I enjoyed reading other books by this author but this one felt like the book started in the middle of a story without a lot of needed backstory. I knew the characters from previous books but I didn't read the one just before this.
The mystery was enjoyable but I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the book just before this one.
