This movie exceeded my expectations. I saw the trailer and said well this looks really cool but it looks like it is one of those movies that is just going to suck but you know what? It was freaking fantastic. There were a lot of times where you think it's all figured out but it's really not or is it? It's a roller coaster of emotions. Expect the unexpected.

When I heard of this I expected something along the line of Cloverfield, The Mist. It does have a bit in common with those, but there isn't a lot of action in this or many scenes with the creatures, which was a disappointment. It's still a good film, very character driven with some good set pieces. I would have preferred a bit more focus on the Monsters though.

This novel was okay for me. It was very slow for most of the novel and nothing much happens. There are a lot of characters, some of them we don't really get names for. There are changes in speakers who are too alike, so we don't know which story we are following in that moment. I enjoyed some of the descriptions of the novel but it isn't one much for me.

Had such a good start, but turned into a soap opera
Really great premise, and the opening episode was a good starting point. unfortunately the drama that unfolded was more about bluster and posturing and the kind of drama that happens with a lot of talk and not enough doing. The dialog is average at best. I reluctantly finished the fist season to see if it got better.

Much better than I had expected. A big budget, action packed, fun new vision of Sherlock Holmes. A good well picked cast, great visuals, quite a lot of cgi and plenty of humour. Nice to see Guy Ritchie do more than just East London Gangster films! Also features the quickest journey from the Houses of Parliament to Tower Bridge ever, artistic licence for you!! Sequel out next year!

I would love to be able to ignore a user. Let's say a user has very different tastes than me; I'm likely not going to want to look through the Recent feed and see a bunch of their activity. Or if they have a lot of KP, and are always at the top of the reviews, it'd be great to not have to scroll past their reviews every time.

OMG it must be me. I'm sorry if something I said offended you. Obviously not my intention.

Thanks @Akward - just to clarify, the reviews that appear to the top on item pages are the reviews that have been awarded the most KP for THAT review, and not based on that users total KP.

Idea being that if reviews have received KP, they are more likely to be of a higher quality than those that haven’t.

You can re-order by ‘Latest’ if you prefer.

The ‘Recent’ page shows all items recently added by anybody, but the Discovery page should only show recommendations from people you follow. Let me know if you’ve seen otherwise.

Hope that helps ?? .

I feel this books target audience was 11 year olds. Since that is the age we meet Harry it makes sense to start the series that way. A lot of older readers just getting introduced may find it too juvenile. I recommend everyone who feels this way to just get through it. It is worth it and opens the door to the wizarding world. It truly is magical.

A very funny Rom-com without being too soppy. A lot of funny scenes that both sexes should enjoy as a couple try to get back at each other over their break up. A film many will relate to as the plans to out do each other keep escalating all the time as neither want to leave their apartment. Similar to War of the roses, What happens in Vegas.

This isn't a full-length novel...it's a novella...that said:

It felt a bit rushed! I wish there was more back-story! I am thinking that there will be a lot more in the first, full-length book (Witchling) which I will be starting soon :c)

A good introduction & hiya to the character though...I just really want to read their full stories :c)

3/5 stars :c)
