This was my first new movie of 2021, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much from it. However, I enjoyed it significantly more than I thought I would. What a lovely premise, and this film wasn't afraid to hit you with its punches. The film knew exactly what it needed to do, and it made you hurt. I liked this film a lot, and I will watch it again.

I love this game for so many reasons:

The storyline is pretty engaging.
How they talk to each other in the scenes is crazy--hilarious at times.
Kirzu's attitude and fighting skills.
The fun little side stories.
The strange games included from darts and mah-jong to chatting up girls in the cabaret and online video chat.

2 stars I think. We watched it with my boyfriend as part of our Jude Law backlist. The story was poor - all this mystery for nothing. Polly was so annoying throughout. And then, out of nowhere, Angelina Jolie appears as a one-eyed sky plane pirate.
Nope - not for me this one.

P.S. I admired Jude Law a lot in this movie. He is so sexy to watch. Honest!

Superb
This heist film ticked a lot of my boxes. Coming somewhere between the slickness of Ocean's Eleven and the bumbling idiocy of the wonderful Welcome to Collinwood, it gets the balance between genius planning and blind luck just right. As with any heist film, things go wrong, things get fixed and a scapegoat is found.
Brilliant cast, with the exception of Hillary Swank who basically chews the scenery.
