If you're looking for an entertaining as hell, throwback creature feature, then look no further.
Stung is a perfectly imperfect B-Movie horror about some mutated wasps causing havoc at a garden party, leading to giant mutated wasps bursting out of various party guests, hell bent on feasting on any survivors. It's really really silly, but manages to be frequently funny, impressively gory, and shamelessly schlocky.
It has two likable protagonists in Matt O'Leary and Jessica Cook, and it's a nice surprise to see that Lance Henriksen wasn't just a cameo. It's let down a little by some dodgy CGI, but a lot of the gory scenes are practical, and a lot of the action takes place at night, so the effects aren't too much of an eyesore.
Stung is a straight up trashy good time, and the often used Wilhelm scream gets given to a wasp, which is low key hilarious, and absolutely slayed me, so bonus points there.

This is a second book in Vanessa Munroe series. This new job was very needed, after character’s African adventures. (The Informationist) It makes me feel that author puts a lot of effort in making her research about the environment she is going to write. I loved all the details about the cult she mentioned and I am really glad she wrote this book because it educates people about what might possibly be going on inside such cults and how it makes people feel after they leave them. I do understand it is fictional work, but it was very close to all the documentaries I have seen regarding cults. This book is not very fast paced but there is a lot of insight to how Munroe’s brain works and her ability to integrate in to the situations. The ending could’ve been little more tense, but I was not disappointed with it. It is captivating book, it sucks you in and doesn’t let you down.

Since I read this after reading book 3, it made a lot more sense to me than the 18 months between book 2 and 3.
Anyway, I'm glad that Sarah finally made her mind up and chose Michael, he'd always cared for her so for them to end up together has made me happy for them. Team Michael!
As for the rest, everything that had been building up over the previous three books was brought to a head in this and we see the final showdown with the Council and some of the other Vampires. I'm glad a lot of it fell on the good guys side.
If you're going to read this, you should read them as closely together as possible to get the full affect of the story.
I've seen the author is planning on a fifth book, but I think the series has ended well enough without it so I don't think I'll read it if it does come out.

I actually liked Greedfall. It definitely has a mix of Dragon Age and Fable vibes with the open exploration and the various main quest and side quests. Set in the 18th century it definitely showcases colonialism and all the problems and horrors that come with it. I felt frustrated with some of the story pacing in some areas because while the main character got to make a lot of choices, a lot of them felt like I didn't really get to do much for the sake of diplomacy. I enjoyed the combat and felt it had a great system that had a good mix of melee and magic. I liked exploring the island and fighting the giant creatures while learning about the native people of the island. Overall, I had fun playing the game in spite of some of the story issues. Here we have an 80s horror that looks cheap, has a crappy sound mix, involves questionable acting from all involved, a lot of shots that feel like corners were cut, and a ridiculous premise, and it's pretty damn glorious.
The Stuff is wonderful low budget horror. The practical effects are brilliant, and the dialogue is so damn stupid. It's vintage Larry Cohen in short.
The only actual criticisms I have involves Paul Sorvino's character. Even in an over the top cheese fest such as this, his character is severely out of place, and the general fun of the film takes a bit of a dive when he's introduced, casual racism and all. Also, the ending sort of appears from no where.
Any other criticisms are good-bad criticisms. For example, a lot of the dialogue seems improvised, and it's awkward as fuck, but kind of adds to the overall quirkiness of this insane killer dessert B-Movie.
