Dana (24 KP) rated Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in Books

I have finally read this book. Granted, I listened to the audio book while I was crafting, but it still counts! It was a pretty good read. Even though I hadn't read the book before I was familiar with the story because it has shown up a lot in other books I have read in the past few years. Yeah, it was basically what I expected it to be. Interesting, creepy, and just plain weird.

Steamy Thriller
A very good sexy thriller which seems to have stood the test of time. A good story and idea for a thriller as a woman advertises for a flatmate. All seems well at first before the new resident starts to become more weird and threatening as time goes by. It has a good strong cast and it is a lot better than many recent thrillers that have tried to surpass it!

Jessica Erdas (463 KP) rated Grey's Anatomy - Season 1 in TV

The start of a wild journey
The series follows Meredith Grey who is a surgical intern at Seattle Grace. The series gets off to a rocket start with Meredith unknowingly sleeping with an attending at the hospital the night before she starts her internship. As well as following Meredith, the show also follows the other interns who work alongside her. A lot of dark comedy as well as real world relationship and medical woes.

Fresh Look
This is a completely different film than I thought it would be. I was anticipating a movie similar to Robocop or a futuristic James Bond and I was so wrong. This movie, while extremely graphic, is a fresh look and insight into AI and futuristic sci-fi. I honestly had a lot of fun watching this movie and I would watch it again.

A bit of a life/ money saver!
This app has saved me from buying duplicate books on several occasions. I read a lot of books, and some are harder to remember than others! I like seeing what other people are reading too, which does add to my ‘want to read’ list quite significantly, as do the recommendations. Ah well, there are far worse things that I could be spending my time and money on!!

This book was assigned over the summer of the 9th grade year... WOOF. Reading this was torture, analyzing it was easy, thank god. I read a lot of books, and this one never had my attention, and I think it's severely overrated. I could not drink the kool-aid on this one.
The only reason I still have my copy is because it's now worth a bit more money than I bought it for.

And I thought my family was twisted!
Contains spoilers, click to show
Andrews really puts you into the story and into the mind of Cathy. But there is a LOT of mature content in this book! Wow! Between rape, incest, child abuse, and psychological trauma, you'd think it would be a depressing experience but you're rooting for the kids the entire time! But take it from me...draw out a family tree to keep track of who is who.

If you can get in to Stardew Valley, you will likely spend hundreds of hours in it. You would be hard-pressed to find a game that has a better value proposition.
It is a lot like Animal Crossing, but with less focus on home decoration (although it's there), and more focus on farming. Oh, and there is combat in this one too.

I'm ashamed to say it's been years since I read a Michael Crichton novel, but what a way to jump back in! This book was better than I expected, somehow he managed to keep it interesting even though there wasn't a lot of action happening. The pacing was fast, although I thought the main character could have been a little more developed. All in all, this is a book I would definitely recommend.

Good party game (3 more)
Joins well with Avalon
Action cards easy the game
Good at adjusting to different group sizes
Heated games (2 more)
Can seem very basic as characters all equal
Very difficult to play with small groups
This was one of the go to games of my masters. It was enjoyable but ends with a lot of shouting. It can seem very basic if you have played other similar games like werewolf, mafia, and avalon
