Hmmm ... I'm not really sure what to say about this one.
I listened (rather than read) the audiobook version, so - mainly - had it on in the background, whilst doing other stuff.
That might say a lot about it (that I never really give it my full attention): on the other hand, there were some nuggets of information that I picked up whilst listening to it.
I'm not sure if I'll be looking for any other similar works.

Not quite what I thought
I'm not sure this was exactly what I thought it was going to be. I expected a lot more humour when seeing the cast but I felt it was quite serious with a deep underlying story. The stories were quite good, I particularly liked he Portland Hotel episode. I felt towards the end it got quite silly and the solution seemed very clipped.

Kya - she went through an awful lot whilst growing up. But she kept to what she knew and stayed strong (1 more)
Kyas relationship with Jumpin - he pretty much her dad
A truly incredible book!
A story all about the swamp girl Kya Clark whose family members all end up abandoning her.
Chase Andrews, the popular kid from the town gets murdered. And all fingers point to Kya. But did she do it!

Kristina (502 KP) rated Impossible [The Original Trilogy] (Impossible, #1) in Books

Book was slow, the first 30% went pretty quick, but the rest seemed to drag on. The steamy scenes began to get annoying as they seemed to take over the story, and not in a way I enjoyed. Claudia was a character I just couldn't make myself like and Sean got on my nerves. I skimmed the last 60%, got the gist of how it all ended, and I wish I'd just stopped a lot earlier.

Great story
An epic saga nears an end.
This was almost the perfect way to start the end of the epic saga that the marvel cinematic universe has been thus far. A little too much fill and a couple of plot holes but overall this was an amazing film and well worth the wait.

In case you've missed my previous reviews of this series; this isn't one of my favourite but it has always kept me reading and the stories seem to get better with each one.
The plot thickened a lot in this one with the leader of the Reapers making an appearance and let me tell you that was a bit of a shock.
<spoiler>I'm sad to see Logan leave, if only for a little while, too.</spoiler>
