The start of something special
To date Maria V Snyder has 9 books in the chronicles of Ixia and they are truly spectacular. It starts off with this one, and if highly suggest buying her books in sets of three, as I can guarantee you'd want the next one immediately.
The pure creativity, imagination and plot twists and nothing sort of genius. They keep you wondering and guessing what is going to happen next.
These books are my friends, they have supported me through a lot in my life.

A short review. The jump scares were awesome if terrifying. The monsters or aliens or whatever they were sure sounded a lot like Jurassic Park raptors. John Krasinski looks hella sexy in his Ted Kaczynski beard. The little gal in here did an excellent job with her nonverbal communication. A quiet moody teen? I didn’t know there was such a thing. This movie is worth watching just to get to the last 30 seconds.
AT (1676 KP) rated Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan- Season 1 in TV

I love the Jack Ryan series, and it has continued with his son of the same name. Obviously, this series on Amazon Prime is about Jack Ryan, the son, just starting out in the CIA. The series has a lot of action and the suspense that we've become accustomed to in films based on Tom Clancy's novels. I enjoyed the entire series, but don't think it was quite up to where his father would have been, if that makes sense. I look forward to season two, as his career moves forward.

The nostalgia is real
This game has come a long way since its release. With the recent pvp features and trading added, and cooperative raiding, there's a lot to occupy your time. I played the first four generations of games, and in Go, I've been building my collection for years now. I'm pretty excited to try the tournaments being organized through silph road. I play enough to keep my steaks going, but I have met many members of my local community that play constantly. One day, I'll catch them all!

Wonderful book
I see that a lot of people are confused by the ending don't let it put you off the story is lovely and heart warming and teaches an important lesson that we're never as weak and powerless as we think we are.
It was certainly a strange novel to read but that only made it more interesting even though for me it was a step outside my usual comfort zone.
The characters are well fleshed out and developed well through out the story line.

The second of Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan books, I actually found this to be a better and more enjoyable read than the first (Dead Witch Walking): perhaps because it is now free of the constraints of needing to set up the world and characters?
In any case, and like previously, the majority of the book (the first 2/3rds or so) deals with the setup of the plot, tying it all up in the latter portion: I sometimes wish she'd get to the point a lot faster than she does!

Kind of a Buffer but with hints of what's to come
I actually quite liked this film as it filtered more into the wizarding world I know and love from the HP films. We see Hogwarts and we get more of Newts back story...
However not a whole lot happened. I believe that they intend to make 5 films in the story arc and this one felt like somewhat of a buffer... Its set itself up for an exciting next installment though!

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
This but book was a lot of fun and a breeze to read.
I hadn't read the first one and it jumps straight into the action but there's some pretty decent exposition to help along.
I really liked the fact that it was told from three points of view.
I think Ty's story was my favorite but I adored Maggie's comic book love.
And hooray for strong friendships between women!

I received a copy of Murder From Scratch from Netgalley and the publisher.
I really enjoyed this book. My main issue is that all the food talk made me so hungry and as "issues" go that's not bad at all!
I really appreciate the writing of Evelyn. She's actually written as an adult with interests and not as a tall child who brings light to able-bodied folx.
I liked the mystery a lot. The way it was set up as an "obvious" suicide but a family member knows what's up? Definitely my thing!

I'd like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I'd never read this searies before but the third book in I had a pretty good idea of who's who. I'm also pretty interested in reading the whole series so points for that.
The magic bookshop that provides clues in the form of literature is a really interesting idea and a lot of fun!
It was a good mystery and the clues we're really enjoyable.
